Spain top flight <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/la-liga-tv-schedule/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LaLiga</a> has dominated the latest list of top 10 most valuable soccer players in the world. <a href="https://www.footballbenchmark.com/home" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Football Benchmark</a>, a sports business analysis company, has released their list and there are some interesting inclusions and exclusions.



<h5>Mbappé, Haaland are unsurprisingly top two players </h5>



Perhaps unsurprisingly, <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/psg-tv-schedule/">Paris Saint-Germain’s</a> Kylian Mbappé tops Football Benchmark’s list. The France international leads the way with a current valuation of $218 million. Mbappé was subject to <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/2022/05/21/very-happy-mbappe-snubs-real-madrid-to-stay-at-psg/">a potential move to Real Madrid</a> last summer, but chose instead to remain in the French capital.



<a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/manchester-city-tv-schedule/">Manchester City’s</a> Erling Haaland is now second on the list at $198 million. The superstar striker has racked up an incredible 42 goals in 36 total club matches during the current campaign. Haaland is on pace to smash the Premier League’s 38-game goalscoring record this season.



<h2>LaLiga players makeup half of the most valuable list</h2>



Besides the two undisputed top players on the planet, LaLiga players take up five of the top 10 players on the list. <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/real-madrid-tv-schedule/">Real Madrid</a> now have three players with Vinicius Jr., Federico Valverde, and Aurélien Tchouaméni. Gavi and Pedri, on the other hand, make the cut for <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/barcelona-tv-schedule/">Barcelona</a>.

Despite the Premier League’s dominance in fandom, there are only two English top flight players on the list. Haaland’s Manchester City teammate Phil Foden is the only other <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/premier-league-tv-schedule/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Premier League</a> player to make the top 10. <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/arsenal-tv-schedule/">Arsenal’s</a> duo of Bukayo Saka (12th) and Gabriel Jesus (16th) just miss the company’s cut. While Rodri (13th), Marcus Rashford (15th), Ruben Dias (19th) and Darwin Núñez (20th) all round out the league’s top 20 contenders.

Madrid (AFP) – La Liga’s third round, the last before the transfer window shuts, kicks off on Friday with a showdown of perfect teams&nbsp;as fourth-place Osasuna visit third-place Betis.
The pair are among four clubs who have won both their opening fixtures. They trail leaders Villarreal and second-place Real Madrid on goal difference, or goals scored.
Yet when they meet in Seville, the coaches will not be dreaming of top-four finishes, they will simply be hoping they can field their best sides next week, after the dancing stops in the summer game of transfer musical chairs.
Jagoba Arrasate, coach of Pamplona-based Osasuna, has one eye on nearby Real Sociedad and a possible Alexander Isak “cascade”.&nbsp;
If the San Sebastian club accept Newcastle’s reported bid of 70 million euros ($69.8 million) for the Swedish striker, they will have a hole to fill, money to spend and only a few days to spend it.
“There will surely be movement and there are going to be hectic days,” Arrasate told Spanish media after his squad attracted attention by winning their first two games.&nbsp;
“I don’t expect any important player to leave. That is the first premise, but the market is open and something can always happen.”
Betis kept one of their stars Alex Moreno, and that might have had a different domino effect. After the club agreed a fee with Nottingham Forest, the left-back decided he preferred to stay.
Betis approach Friday’s game struggling to reorganise their finances to satisfy Spanish rules. They have six unregistered players. The club is also being linked with Hector Bellerin, who spent last season on loan at Betis from Arsenal.
“Those who are more expensive are more difficult to include,” said Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini.
“We have to be realistic. We will see if between now and tomorrow if there is anything new,” said the Chilean who guided Betis to a fifth-placed finish last season.
Villarreal travel to last-place Getafe on Sunday, but are the only one of the top four who will have to recover from a mid-week game after the second leg of their Europa Conference League play-off.&nbsp;
Real Madrid visit winless Espanyol. Summer signing Aurelien Tchouameni had already slotted seamlessly into Casemiro’s place in midfield before the Brazilian, who is eight years older, left for Manchester United.&nbsp;

Despite a goal by Isak in San Sebastian last week, Barcelona blew Real Sociedad away with an ominous 4-1 victory. The Barca brilliance was back as one of their chief summer signings, Robert Lewandowski scored twice, before his clever back heel set up the fourth for Fati.&nbsp;The burgeoning form of the home-bred teenager might signal long-term hope for a club that has bet the future on an immediate return to the top.

The 2022/23 LaLiga predictions may be more open than people presume. On one hand, it is hard to pick against Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico to win the LaLiga title. However, the jumble of teams beneath these three provides some drama. This stretches from the battle for European placement to the always-looming danger of relegation.
So, as you think about how LaLiga unfolds this season, consider a number of factors that impact teams. For one, transfers play a massive role. New arrivals to squads can be the missing piece for success on the biggest level. At the same time, they could throw off the balance of what brought success. That applies to both arrivals and departures on the team sheet.
Same applies for managers. Barcelona manager Xavi had significant time at the helm at Camp Nou. Now, he has his first full season with the Catalan club. Surely, he wants to improve on Barcelona’s second-place finish from a season ago. Of course, the one team they can improve against is a side that won LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League this past season. Therefore, Los Blancos enter as the sure-fire favorites domestically.
Relegation in Spain is not something that receives as much publicity in the United States. Unlike Germany or England, there is no regular attachment to many of the bottom-dwellers in LaLiga. That being said, a relegation battle is still a relegation battle. Almería, Real Valladolid and Girona look to stay for more than one season in Spain, but it will not be easy.
