Juan Mata move to Manchester United breaks two unwritten rules

The potential sale of Juan Mata for a reported £40 million from Chelsea to Manchester United is shocking. It breaks two unwritten rules in football transfer dealings, and could be made by a manager in Jose Mourinho who doesn’t make transfer errors very often. The two unwritten rules are: 1- Never sell a player to […]

With Nicolas Anelka Facing a 5-Match Ban, West Brom Need a New Striker

Pepe Mel’s West Brom debut as manager was solid if unspectacular. The Baggies drew 1-1 with Everton at the Hawthorns Monday night in a match that was more entertaining than one may have expected before the match. 3 Questions Remain About Clarence Seedorf As AC Milan Manager

While Clarence Seedorf made a winning start to his life as a manager this weekend in a 1-0 AC Milan victory over Hellas Verona, several worrying signs were apparent. The 4-2-3-1 formation that Seedorf set up the side in was certainly mouthwatering going forward. January signing Keisuke Honda linked well with Brazilians Kaka and Robinho […]

Why Would Borussia Dortmund Sign Sunderland Striker Ji Dong-Won?

Paulo Di Canio rightfully lost faith in the Korean youngster Ji Dong-Won when he ducked out of the way of a cross in an August 31 loss at Crystal Palace. But this came just weeks after the former Sunderland manager had reportedly turned down an offer from Borussia Dortmund reportedly in the neighborhood of £5million for the […]

Jason Puncheon is a Key Component Of Crystal Palace's Revival Despite Penalty Miss

Ian Holloway brought Jason Puncheon to Blackpool on loan from Southampton in January 2011 to try and avoid relegation from the Premier League in the Tangerines' first top flight season since the early 1970s. At the time it seemed odd. Why would a Premier League club take a player on loan from a League One […]

David Moyes was courageous in his tactics today attempting to take the game to a Chelsea side that has never lost a Premier League game at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho. The tactics that led to an open game were not typically what we see from a Moyes side away from home, but with the […]

Why Arsene Wenger Should Not Sign Dimitar Berbatov to Arsenal

Gossip continues to intensify that Arsenal will try and solve the club’s current depth crisis at striker by acquiring Dimitar Berbatov. NBC's broadcast today of the Gunners 2-0 win against Fulham was filled with references to his potential transfer. Willian's Brilliant Season Proves How Chelsea Know How to Play the Transfer Market

Chelsea over the festive period unleashed a new weapon on the Premier League.
