The US Could Learn from Steve McClaren

Let me preface this blog post by saying I am in no way a fan of Steve McClaren and feel he is completely out of his league coaching England. But he does have one thing right: Friendlies need to be used to deepen the player pool so when major tournaments roll around you are fielding […]

US Drawn With Argentina at Copa America

The rest of the draw will be made later today. This is certainly a challenge for the US Men but if we do send a true "A" side (which has not been indicated by the USSF) this could prove to be an invaluable building experience for our national team.

"The result was unjust," Hugo Sanchez said. "This is a unique game in that you can deserve to win and still lose.We deserved to win and they did not."

On one hand he marvels at the play of the United States and on the other he claims they are inferior to Mexico. On one […]

Arsenal Colorado name change doesn't materialize

It appears the rumors which I had personally dismissed as far fetched maybe in fact true: That the Colorado Rapids would be signing a partnership with Arsenal and changing their name and colors. Not Really a Friendly

Bob Bradley sure wants to lose that interim label badly. Otherwise I see no reason for him to have selected what is essentially an "A" side with a few younger players for the friendly versus Mexico on Wednesday night in Glendale, Arizona.
