
<p>Nottingham Forest have agreed a new shirt sponsor partnership for the current campaign. The deal will reportedly run until the end of the 2022/23 season.</p>



<p>Previously, Forest wore blank red shirts since rejoining the <a href="https:\/\/worldsoccertalk.com/premier-league-tv-schedule/">Premier League</a> in August. </p>



<p>UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, will display their logo across the Forest jerseys starting Jan. 1. This means that they will still play one more match without a main logo on the chest of their shirts. Forest travel to <a href="https:\/\/worldsoccertalk.com/teams/manchester-united-tv-schedule/">Manchester United</a> on Dec. 27 as their Premier League season resumes after the World Cup break.</p>

<p>The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is an agency that helps refugees all over the world. They aid people fleeing areas due to conflict and persecution. Along with wearing the logo on their shirts, Forest announced a financial donation to the agency and will also raise awareness through marketing campaigns.</p>



<h2>Nottingham Forest owner proud of shirt sponsor</h2>



<p>Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis was excited about the agreement. “We are delighted that for the remainder of the season we will use the front of the famous Nottingham Forest shirt to tell such an important story,” <a href="https:\/\/www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/2022/december/22/forest-and-uk-for-unhcr-launch-charity-shirt-partnership/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">said</a> Marinakis. “It will be an honor to display their name on our shirt in support of this important cause.”</p>



<p>“I hope fans of Nottingham Forest will also be proud that we have chosen to highlight the work of UNHCR for the remainder of the season, in addition to the local causes our Community Trust supports. This comes at a time when the world faces enormous challenges in helping the most vulnerable people in society.”</p>



<h2>Forest fans will soon get to see the shirts in person</h2>



<p>Forest previously had a jersey sponsorship deal with boiler company BOXT during their successful 2021/22 <a href="https:\/\/www.worldsoccertalk.com/championship-tv-schedule">Championship</a> season. However, an agreement to extend their partnership into the current campaign never materialized. The newly promoted team will first display their new jerseys at home against <a href="https:\/\/worldsoccertalk.com/teams/chelsea-tv-schedule/">Chelsea</a> on Jan. 1.</p>


Nottingham Forest has found a shirt sponsor. It is the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees replacing the blank Forest shirts.
