If you love Serie A, you will enjoy the weekend of day 5, that will be split into three days. Saturday is time to play for the two most accredited Serie A contenders, Juventus and <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/2014/09/21/the-resurrection-of-as-roma/">AS Roma</a>.
The choices of both managers will be conditioned by their players’ fitness, as well as the following Champions League games, in program for next Tuesday (Manchester City v. Roma) and Wednesday (Atletico Madrid v. Juventus).
The Giallorossi are playing at home against Verona. Former Gialloblu winger Juan Manuel Iturbe won’t be playing because of an injury, suffered in the last Champions League match against CSKA Moscow.
The same thing goes for Daniele De Rossi and Davide Astori. They will be out of action for a few weeks.

FC Juventus is playing away against Atalanta. Manager Massimiliano Allegri is expected to do lot of turnover and new sign Manuel Morata has a chance to start from the beginning. 
Fernando Llorente has played the last few games from the beginning and Carlos Tevez has been resting on the bench for the whole mid-week game won 3-0 at home against Cesena.
After this round, Juve and Roma will face each other on day six.
The most important game of round five, anyway, is in program on Sunday. At Stadio Marassi, Genoa and Sampdoria are playing the “Derby della Lanterna”, with Samp looking favourite on the Rossoblu.
There is something belonging to FC Internazionale in this derby, as both manager passed through San Siro during their career. Sinisa Mihailovic, on a side, has played for the
Nerazzurri, while Gianpiero Gasperini trained them with no much success. 
This derby used to be much more fascinating in the 1980’s and 90’s, but this year it can show some of the best young Italian talents.
First of all, Genoa’s goalkeeper Mattia Perin. The 21-year-old has been the third Italian National team goalkeeper, during the last World Cup and is at his second year with Genoa. He is always one of the best in the pitch for Giampiero Gasperini’s side.
Keep an eye also on young midfielder Stefano Sturaro, 21, bought by Juventus last summer for €5.5 million and left on loan for one more season in Genoa. Up in front one between Mauricio Pinilla and Alessandro Matri should play.
On the other side of Genoa, Sinisa Mihailovic, will count on raising star Stefano Okaka, that under the Serbian manager is delivering very consistent performances. He offered one assist and scored one goal in the last two matches, looking as fit as he has never been during his career, started in the youth teams of Roma.
On Sunday evening attention on Napoli, playing away in Sassuolo. Eusebio Di Francesco’s side have just two points on the table and scored one single goal, but Napoli obtained just four points in four matches and rumors concerning Rafa Benitez’s sack started already this week, after the domestic 3-3 draw against Palermo.
FC Internazionale will play at home against the last of the table, Cagliari, while AC Milan will play in Cesena. Chievo against Empoli is a match between two sides that want to avoid relegation, while the program of Serie A day 5 will finish on Monday night with Udinese battling Parma and Palermo at home to Lazio.
