<p>Paramount+ is raising its monthly price by one dollar, but it is also offering an option of <em>Paramount+ With Showtime</em> from Showtime for $11.99 beginning in late June. This launch and price increase rolls out on June 27, 2023.</p>



<p>From that date moving forward, the ad-supported version of <a href="https://paramountplus.qflm.net/c/330866/1007330/3065" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Paramount+</a> is $5.99 per month. Also, subscribers can get a version for $11.99 a month, which includes Showtime content. The latter is a $2 increase from the $9.99 per month it is now. </p>



<p>By adding Showtime’s catalog of content, the Showtime app will shut down. Therefore, all of the current offerings on that platform will require a subscription to Paramount+.</p>



<p>The monthly options stated above will not be the only way to subscribe to Paramount+. Each will also have an annual option. As of now, the annual option for Paramount+ is <a href="https://paramountplus.qflm.net/c/330866/1007330/3065" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">$49.99</a>. Next month, when the price increase kicks in, the ad-supported version is likely to be $59.99. However, this has not been announced officially yet. For the ad-free edition of Paramount+, the annual fee is $119.99.</p>



<p>Therefore, this is an opportunity to upgrade to the annual plan before those prices increase. For reference, if you use a monthly plan to watch the Champions League, Serie A, Scottish Premiership or NWSL, you will have to pay $5.99 per month. However, if you <a href="https://paramountplus.qflm.net/c/330866/1007330/3065" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">upgrade to an annual plan now</a>, you would save even more for the next year. On average, you would pay $4.17 per month, while others would pay just under $6.</p>



<p>Given that CBS Sports have the US English-language rights to the UEFA Champions League <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/2022/08/19/cbs-renews-uefa-champions-league-rights-through-2029-30/">through the 2029/30 season</a>, it’s a wise move to <a href="https://paramountplus.qflm.net/c/330866/1007330/3065" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">get an annual Paramount+ plan now</a> before the price increases.</p>

<h2>Paramount+ raising price, but no new soccer content</h2>



<p>For soccer fans, the price increase is not exactly welcome. Despite paying more, CBS is not adding a new league or new competition. Still, it has the Champions League, Serie A, NWSL and more. Plus, it is still cheaper than <a href="https://go.web.plus.espn.com/mWebq" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ESPN+</a>, which <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.com/2022/07/15/espn-plus-price-increase/">jumped to $9.99 per month</a> last summer. And, while from June 27th, Paramount+ is more than <a href="https://imp.i305175.net/c/330866/1313913/11640" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Peacock Premium</a>, the soccer options on Paramount+ far exceed those on Peacock.</p>



<p>However, Showtime does bring a significant chunk of content in its own right. That could be hit movies like <em>Everything Everywhere All at Once</em> and <em>The Fabelmans</em>, or shows such as <em>Dexter</em>.</p>

Paramount+ will be raising its monthly price by one dollar this summer as well as offering an option with Showtime.

<p>As <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.cms.futbolsitesnetwork.com/category/world-cup-2022/">the World Cup approaches</a>, fans from across the world are making their way to Qatar. Consequently, they want to figure out how much they are going to spend, as it is not necessarily a cheap affair.</p>
<p>Outside of <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.cms.futbolsitesnetwork.com/how-to-travel-to-qatar-for-world-cup-2022/">plane tickets, lodging</a> and <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.cms.futbolsitesnetwork.com/2022/06/28/world-cup-tickets-available-for-qatar-2022/">the actual game tickets</a>, food and drink is among a traveler’s highest costs. Fans could be surprised how high the beer prices are in particular at the World Cup.</p>
<p>Earlier in the month, World Cup organizers <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.cms.futbolsitesnetwork.com/2022/09/03/qatar-world-cup-officials-relax-position-on-beer-sales/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> that they will relax their position on selling beer. While they will sell alcoholic beer <a href="https://worldsoccertalk.cms.futbolsitesnetwork.com/qatar-world-cup-2022-stadiums/">in the area of matches</a>, it will be a bit different than normal. Local bars do not sell alcohol. Fans looking to take in a taste of beer will need to find different avenues.</p>
<h3>Beer prices at the World Cup in Qatar</h3>
<p>Hotels will provide beer around stadiums that host the matches. However, prices are not exactly ideal. A regular bottle of beer will <a href="https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/england-fans-qatar-alcohol-woe-28045191" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reportedly</a> cost between $10 to $15. Draft beer will be even more expensive. A half liter (about 17 ounces) of draft beer could set back fans up to $17.50.</p>
<p>Alcoholic draft cider is supposedly closer to $19. Standard cocktails, on the other hand, cost an average of about $25. These prices are all reported customary costs. Price gouging could hike these figures up even more.</p>

<p>Along with these hotels, FIFA also announced plans for a fan zone to serve a wide range of food and drinks. This celebration takes place in a park on the west side of capital city Doha. The fan zone area, however, will not sell alcohol until after 6PM local time. Beer prices for this specific area are not yet available. Nevertheless, they are rumored to be a bit cheaper than the hotel prices. Budweiser will be the only beer served in this area.</p>
<p>Some fans are choosing to travel in and out of Dubai, where alcohol laws a bit more like here in the United States. The capital of the United Arab Emirates is about a 75 minute flight away from Doha.</p>
