Time to cut the cord with David Beckham

The Los Angeles Galaxy are among the worst run football clubs anywhere on the planet and among the worst run professional sports franchise in the United States. So it should come as no surprise to those of us that follow Major League Soccer that David Beckham's arrival stateside has been fiasco. The Galaxy bought a […]

Dynamo Win; Is MLS Really Inferior to the A-League (As has been speculated upon in Britain)

Houston beat Los Angeles 3-1 last night at the Home Depot Center to jump Chivas (who drew with Colorado earlier in the day) in the Western standings and clinch a playoff spot. The Galaxy's continued poor play has yet to result in any changes to Frank Yallop's status as coach although I would certainly expect […]

More Post US-Brazil Thoughts

Landon Donovan got as lost out on the right flank as he often does in the middle against superior opponents. I am really at a loss to describe further what can be done with Donovan. A player of his ability has to be more than a marketing tool for the USSF by the time he […]

DC United and Chivas Continue Hot Play

Thursday Night's nationally televised match between Chivas USA and DC United ended controversially with Chivas' Paco Mendoza being called for a phantom offside when he was in on goal.
