Which World Cup Team Will Win Coffee Cup 2014?

Just as the quarterfinals of the World Cup get into full swing, Quill.com, in partnership with Keurig, have launched their own World Cup-style online elimination game to determine the fans’ favorite Keurig K-Cup. Quill are also giving 10 lucky participants their very own Keurig B130 Deskpro Brewing System and a year’s supply of K-Cup packs.

Office product suppliers Quill host this all-new game, in which players choose their favorite K-Cups – single packs of gourmet-quality flavored coffee – in a bracket of 16. The competition closes on July 14 (the day after the World Cup final), and one K-Cup will be crowned “The Chosen One”.

Just as Colombia prepare to do battle with Brazil in the World Cup quarter-finals, their K-Cup counterpart, the ‘Lively Colombian’ K-Cup faces the Italian Roast in the Coffee Cup round of 16.

As France prepare to meet the Germans on Friday, the French Roast K-Cup squares up to the Green Mountain Double Black Diamond.

And while USMNT fans would have hoped that Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley and Tim Howard could have take Team USA further in Brazil, coffee lovers can give favorites Nantucket Blend and Southern Pecan K-Cups can go.

In Brazil we’re seeing colorful South American sides enjoy success against their European foes, but will this translate to a similar triumph in the Coffee Cup? Which K-Cup will be immortalized as “The Chosen One”, and which ones will face the shame and ignominy of early elimination?

You can decide – just visit CoffeeCup2014.com to play.

French and Italian roast coffee are horrible. Best one left is French Vanilla.
