When soccer aficionados talk about how cities literally shut down during games in a World Cup, we all nod and imagine what that must be like. But own savvy Brazilian decided to put a camera on his window and record the sights and sounds of the city of his São Paulo neighborhood during the Brazil versus Croatia match.

The time-lapse video shows you what the reaction was in his city during each of Brazil’s goals.

If you watch closely, you’ll see a solitary car meandering through the empty city streets.
