adidas football design team WATCH Behind the Scenes Footage of World Cup Shirt Designers At Work [VIDEO]

adidas recently shared rare behind-the-scenes footage of their soccer shirt designers hard at work.

If you ever wondered what some of the designers look like, the environment they work within and some of the aspects of shirt design that go through this mind, you may find the following video pretty enlightening.

Every adidas jersey for the 2014 World Cup is a nation’s symbol and has its own story. Where the designers get their inspiration from is sometimes more unconventional than you would think.

Lavy is adidas football designer and gives you insights into the product design process. He introduces you to the adidas football design team and explains the inspiration behind Spanish national team’s (aka “La Roja’”) jersey design for the FIFA World Cup 2014.

How do you give a nation a strong look? How do you capture a nation’s identity in one piece of a football jersey? You’ll find answers on these and more questions in this video.
