arsenal web site Arsenal to Relaunch Website in Summer 2008

Arsene Wenger’s team will not be the only thing at Arsenal getting an overhaul this summer. The website will undergo a complete redesign as well as other significant changes.

Liverpool-based digital media agency Rippleffect has won the four-year contract. The agency will be responsible for the complete redesign of including the back-end. The new website is scheduled for a launch this summer, which is a pretty aggressive turnaround time.

According to Rippleffect, they “will also introduce a number of web 2.0 features to the website such as podcasts, vodcasts, RSS feeds, social bookmarking and user-generated content services.”

Earlier this month, American businessman Stan Kroenke bought 50% of Arsenal Broadband, the company responsible for running the Arsenal website.
