Telemundo Deportes, the Spanish-language home of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019, will kick off their Women’s World Cup coverage on December 8 with an exclusive, Spanish-language broadcast of the Draw on Telemundo and Universo, live from the Seine Musicale performing arts center in Boulogne-Bollancourt, near Paris.

Five time Emmy-winner Andres Cantor will lead the coverage from Paris with Carlota Vizmanos also reporting from site and Miguel Gurwitz, Ana Jurka, Copan Alvarez, and guests commentators live from Telemundo Center in Miami.

In the interim, Telemundo will continue to provide the latest news and information around the qualifying phase across its digital platforms and sports programming. USA, the current World Champion, secured its ticket to France earlier this month leading the chart in the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship. Other prominent teams already in include Brazil, Chile, Germany, Spain, Japan and France.

The FIFA Women’s World France 2019 will take place June 7–July 7. All 52 matches will air live across Telemundo, Universo and Telemundo Deportes digital platforms, beginning with the opening match live from Paris on June 7. This will be the eighth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The tournament will be played across nine cities: Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris, Reims, Rennes, and Valenciennes.
