Mexico and the United States topped the charts last week as the CONCACAF Gold Cup Group Stage concluded. Mexico’s matches averaged 3.189 million viewers between both FOX’s and Univision’s networks, beating all other nations by a huge margin. Unsurprisingly, the United States saw the second-highest average viewership at 1.923 million. Overall, Univision averaged 1.1 million viewers throughout the group stage while FOX Sports averaged just over 300k viewers.

The National Women’s Soccer League on Lifetime reached a new high last week as 127k viewers tuned in to see the Portland Thorns take on the North Carolina Courage. The Courage won the match 1-0 and leapfrogged Chicago Red Stars to sit top of the NWSL table.

Also last week, Manchester United opened their US tour against Los Angeles Galaxy and Real Salt Lake with both matches airing on ESPN2, averaging 251,000 viewers between them.
