The World Cup commentator schedule on FOX and FS1 brings an air of excitement in the tournament nearer. This year, FOX brings an array of talent and experience to Qatar, with a number of exciting games on the docket.
The familiar pairing of John Strong and Stu Holden are in store for many games at the World Cup. The pair called the World Cup Final, among other games, at the 2018 World Cup. Now, FOX gets its first World Cup that features the United States Men’s National Team. Surely, that is a boost to the network’s coverage of the tournament.
The rest of the FOX Sports World Cup crew features the impressive resumes of Ian Darke and Derek Rae. Rae worked for FOX at Russia 2018, having worked World Cups for decades, including 2010 and 2014 with ESPN. Ian Darke also featured on the ESPN crews in 2010 and 2014. Now, he makes a first appearance with FOX.
The rest of the commentary crew features former USMNT international Cobi Jones and USWNT star Aly Wagner. Plus, making his World Cup commentary debut, Landon Donovan works alongside the aforementioned Ian Darke.
The World Cup commentator schedule shapes up nicely.
