Legendary striker Alan Shearer will be included inthe next NBC Premier League Fan Fest in Orlando. The former Newcastle forward joins the regular crew of Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe, and Tim Howard. Shearer released a statement proclaiming his excitement for the festivities.

“The Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fests are always a great opportunity to meet passionate football fans in the US and witness the love they have for their clubs and the game,” said Shearer. “This will be the sixth Fan Fest I have been to and it’s great to see how much the event has grown since they started in 2018.”

“We kick off the weekend with Liverpool v. Chelsea and finish with Arsenal v. Manchester United, so it’s set to be an exciting weekend for Premier League football. I hope lots of fans register for this free event, come down to see the live broadcast and get involved in the family-friendly activities.”

Shearer still holds the record for most goals in the Premier League with 260. He has been a regular pundit with BBC since retiring from the sport.

Gary Cahill also included in lineup

The Newcastle legend will be joined by Gary Cahill as well. Cahill played a majority of his career in England’s top flight and was a mainstay in two different title runs with Chelsea. The defender also collected Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, and League Cup trophies with the Blues as well.

“I’ve heard brilliant things about the Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fests and can’t wait to be a part of the weekend,” Cahill stated. “Orlando is going to be an amazing location for the Fan Fest, so it’s great that football fans will be able to watch high-tempo Premier League action with the backdrop of Universal CityWalk.”

Shearer joins latest NBC fan fest

Fans can sign up to be at the Fan Fest in Orlando by visiting the NBC Sports website. The event will be held on the weekend of January 21st and 22nd. In total, nine Premier League matches will be played during this timeframe. Other events and programming will also obviously be included as well.

Orlando will be the eighth Premier League Fan Fest that NBC Sports has hosted. The previous event in Philadelphia took place in October. These Fan Fests have attracted over 50,000 people over the course of the events held here Stateside.
