In the opening leg of the CONCACAF Champions League quarter-finals last night, Kevin Ellis scored for Sporting Kansas City against Cruz Azul to help the MLS side take a commanding lead into the second leg.

Ellis scored the goal in the 17th minute in only his fourth career start.

  1. Looks like the US clubs will be crashing out of the Champions’s League just like their English counterparts! No way they keep those Mexican clubs scoreless south of the border

    1. I was looking to see where it may have noted that they won 1-0 on the road. Indeed, not very commanding, but best of luck to them on the 2nd leg.
