  1. Scrumper says:

Wake me up when Barcelona lose the ball

  2. San Fransiscan says:

Wake me up when the pre-game show is over.

  3. tobyjim says:

Wish Fox would get rid of that godawful rolling banner across the bottom of the screen. It’s a football match we can wait for 90 minutes to hear about N Texan or CLU or whatever Mike Garafolo is doing, whoever he is. NBC are so so so much better.

    • Velija says:

Yeah it is really getting to a ridiculous point, now its changing colors to a very visible red. Also why have a completely opaque blue ticker with white text, that’s the most visible color combination you can get, its atrocious!

    • Rob says:

why on earth is there a thumbs down to that comment?
I sit watching the games with a thick wooden stick held up by a stack of dvds covering that stupid banner.

  4. Christopher Harris says:

Is it me or is the “LIVE” game of Barcelona-Manchester City 2-3 minutes behind real-time?. Other broadcasts of the game (radio, other feeds) are a few minutes ahead of FOX who probably were behind because they had to squeeze in more talk or commercials.

Thankfully Martin Tyler and Gary Neville are doing the commentary, so there’s no need to try to sync up radio commentary with TV visuals.

  5. Christopher Harris says:

Two goals in the PSG-Leverkusen goal already. 1-1 it is. Leverkusen is at least putting up a fight.

  6. Cule77 says:

We have been robbed of a stonewall penalty and a clear goal. I wonder what Pelligrini has to say about that. Every time we get the ball we cut through their back 4 like a it’s nothing. I respect the EPL but all that talk of City beating Barca 4-2 6-2 3-0 has hopefully been silenced. It looks like a practice match out there. Poor play from some of our players though trying to buy fouls

  7. Matt Jones says:

Kompany is an absolute colossus for City. What a player

  8. Cody (#2) says:

Well, at least if City fail to go through, the papers can always blame Ozil.

  9. Ianor says:

Martin tyler forth time mentions the qpr match back in the 2012.

  10. FreddyFreak says:

we need a gif of Hart trying to catch up to that goal at 90′

  11. James says:

After watching this as an Arsenal fan I can hold up my head higher than any City fan. 2 Barca goals wrongly ruled out for offside and the Penalties that both sides should have had cancelled each other out. Really it’s 6-1 on aggregate. For all the millions they’ve spent they were pretty damn meek at home compared to Arsenal going up against Bayern. Even Pep Guardiola said we played them better Pretty pathetic with all that cash and not even one Quarter final appearance. Comprehensively outplayed.

    • Johnny Tsunami says:

      Enjoy your 4th place “trophy”

      • James says:

Well we don’t all have billionaires backing us now do we?

      • FreddyFreak says:

You told him, Johnny Tsunami! Yeah! Enjoy that Champions League Qualification and all that money! Collecting all that talent and luring footballers to a club that is IN the Champions League and NOT Europa… ENJOY THAT JAMES!!!

  12. Ianor says:

Arsenal out, city out, united will follow! Where an earth is the english football is heading?

  13. Flyvanescence says:

Absolutely the worst bloody refereeing performance i have ever seen! Made awful calls against both sides, apparently Yaya Toure using his strength to get past a player is a foul, and then sending off zabaleta while looking like a petulant brat for correctly telling the ref he made an atrocious call.

And i thought english refs were poor. Give me a freaking break UEFA.

  14. Flyvanescence says:

    Also, Dzeko should have started.

    • Christopher Harris says:

He should have started against Wigan too.

      • Flyvanescence says:

Alone up top too. Dzeko plays great as a lone striker and terrible in a front 2. Peculiar but thats how he is.
Dont see the need to play 2 strikers. What other top team does, except for some italian teams who play a variant of 3-5-2.
