For viewers in the United States, the pre-match television coverage of Arsenal against Chelsea kicks off at 2pm ET on NBCSN featuring the first live studio broadcast of Gary Lineker. Plus he’ll be joined by Tim Howard. The match kicks off at 3pm ET on the same channel with Arlo White and Graeme Le Saux commentating.
According to NBC’s correspondent in the UK, the game was close to being called off due to heavy rain and the weather forecast for heavy winds tonight, making it difficult for supporters to travel home. But because the away team is Chelsea, a London side, the game will go on. If the away team was one from outside London, then the probability of the game being cancelled would have been much greater.
Starting line-ups:
Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Rosicky, Ramsey, Ozil, Walcott, Giroud
Subs: Fabianski, Monreal, Jenkinson, Flamini, Cazorla, Bendtner Podolski
Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Mikel, Lampard; Ramires, Willian, Hazard; Torres
Subs: Schwarzer, Luiz, Cole, Oscar, Mata, Schurrle, Eto’o
