QPR Agree Deal With Spurs to Sign Scott Parker, Says Redknapp

Queens Park Rangers have agreed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur to sign midfielder Scott Parker according to Harry Redknapp. The England national team midfielder now has to decide whether he wants to move to QPR and, if so, to agree personal terms.

Redknapp said today:

“We agreed terms with Tottenham, so it is up to Scott now what he does and to make his mind up whether he wants to come or not.

“There was an agreement with us and Tottenham but he can go where he wants. We have made a good offer to Scott.

“We feel this is a club that wants to progress again, so we’d love him to be a part of that.”

With Tottenham’s signings this summer of midfielders Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and Etienne Capoue, Parker’s place at White Hart Lane has fallen further down the pecking order.

The 32-year-old midfielder made 30 appearances for Tottenham last season.

Great move for Harry. Not sure if it is for Parker’s World Cup chances.

Good Luck to you Scott…always gave us a 100% ..gave everything for the cause.
Adebayor take note – that’s the effort required irrespective of talent!

I think this is the only chance Parker has to make the Brazil squad, assuming England qualifies. He won’t get on the first choice team sheet at Tottenham with the new signings.
