Luis Suarez Wants to Stay at Anfield Club ‘For Another Four Years’: The Nightly EPL

luis suarez1 Luis Suarez Wants to Stay at Anfield Club For Another Four Years: The Nightly EPL

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is under contract at the club until 2017, but the Uruguayan has reassured Reds supporters that he’s not going anywhere in an interview with the Sunday Times.

I’ll be here next season yes. Not only am I playing for Liverpool, I am playing in one of the best leagues in the world. I am very happy (at Liverpool) and I want to see out my contract, though in football you never know quite what’s ahead.”

It’s imperative that Liverpool holds on to the striker even though the club won’t be able to provide him Champions League matches next season.

Here are tonight’s Premier League news headlines:

One Response to Luis Suarez Wants to Stay at Anfield Club ‘For Another Four Years’: The Nightly EPL

  1. Dave says:

He did end his statement by saying” though in football you never know quite what’s ahead.” If i were a betting man I’d say he will leave this summer given where Liverpool are and heading.

I doubt he will turn down the opportunity to play for a club that challenges for titles and are in the Champions League. Liverpool won’t even be in the Europa League next season and Mr Rodgers has already started talking about how it is going to take a lot more time for Liverpool to compete for the top 4. I don’t think that’s the kind of thing that’s going to keep Suarez at Liverpool long.
