Since signing with Arsenal, Abou Diaby has made just 92 league appearances for the club and has, by talkSport’s estimations, suffered 35 injuries.

The frustration with Diaby’s injury-prone history at Arsenal is that he’s an amazingly gifted central midfielder who often makes a profound difference to the team when he’s in the side.

Diaby is currently recuperating from a knee injury that has ruled him out of action for eight to nine months after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury in training.

Another Arsenal player leeching off the wage. Big Surprise!!

what an ignorant comment. Diaby is far from a leech his mentality to overcome that many setbacks should be applauded, most people would have thrown the towel in. Arsenal have lost a player who could have been better than Vieira because of some pub player.

I can see why arsenal have kept faith in him as he is the most influential player we have on his day. Such a shame to see him injured just as things were looking up. Hate comments like above ,as i think the last thing Diaby and Arsenal wanted was this inury. some people are so narrow minded.

    Shame, such a gifted footballer…
