Poll: Which Season Was The Worst Ever For a Big Premier League Club?

Tottenham’s season so far has been abysmal, but how does it compare with other dreadful seasons from Premier League clubs? Leeds United’s 2003/2004 season was particularly poor especially the comical performances by Roque Junior, which I’ll never forget. What for you has been the worst season by a big Premier League side?

I can't pick Tottenham, because this season has a long way to go still.

Where is the option to select Derby from last season??? They were statistically and aesthetically the worst I have seen.

  3. The Gaffer says:

Lonnie, it's only big Premier League clubs listed. I wanted to separate the really obvious weak ones from the big clubs that should have done better.

    Manchester City are big?

  5. Todd says:

    MASSIVE!

  6. BishopvilleRed says:

What about Forest 1998/9? Sure they had gone down earlier, but the were a big club in the late 70's and 80's, regularly put players in the England XI. Then they disappeared off the face of the football world.

That said, this Manchester United supporter selected Leeds. Gladly.
