London (AFP) – Jose Mourinho faces a trip to the seaside to face Bournemouth in his first Premier League game in charge of Manchester United while champions Leicester start their title defence away at Hull.

Manchester City, under new boss Pep Guardiola — Mourinho’s bitter rival when they went head-to-head in Spain, will host Sunderland, who narrowly escaped the drop last season.

Current Italy coach Antonio Conte faces a highly charged first game in the dugout for Chelsea with a London derby against Slaven Bilic’s West Ham.

Another of the influx of top-class continental European coaches, Jurgen Klopp, will begin his first full season in charge of Liverpool by taking his team to face Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal.

After their opening fixture against Hull City, Leicester will have their title credentials tested when they host Arsenal the following week.

Ronald Koeman’s first task as Everton manager will be to host Tottenham Hotspur, coached by his predecessor at Southampton, Maurico Pochettino.

Only a year ago Koeman criticised Pochettino for ditching Southampton before his contract was up — only for Koeman to do the same thing when he took the Everton job this week.
