Copa America Centenario tickets are on sale for this summer’s tournament featuring some of the best soccer players in the world playing on US soil.

The prestigious South American soccer championship, run by CONMEBOL, will partner with CONCACAF to host many of the best countries from both regions in the tournament, which will be played across the United States from June 3-26 in various venues.

The 2016 Copa America Centenario is the historic centennial edition of Copa America – the South American championship – and will be staged outside of South America for the first time.

The cities/stadiums are:

• Boston (Gillette Stadium),
• Chicago (Soldier Field),
• Houston (NRG Stadium),
• Los Angeles (Rose Bowl),
• New York (MetLife Stadium),
• Orlando (Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium),
• Philadelphia (Lincoln Financial Field),
• Phoenix (University of Phoenix Stadium),
• San Francisco (Levi’s Stadium) and
• Seattle (CenturyLink Field).

Copa America Centenario will feature the following countries:

• Argentina,
• Brazil,
• Chile,
• Colombia,
• Ecuador,
• Uruguay,
• Bolivia,
• Paraguay,
• Peru, and
• Venezuela.

In addition to the CONMEBOL countries, USA and Mexico are automatic qualifiers. Costa Rica and Jamaica will also participate. The final two teams from CONCACAF are Haiti and Panama.

The tournament begins with a round-robin stage featuring four groups of four teams, with Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the United States the top-seeded teams in each group. The rest of the groups, comprised of eight more South American teams (Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela) and four more teams from the United States and Mexico’s CONCACAF region (Costa Rica, Haiti, Jamaica and Panama).

The top two teams from each group advances to the quarterfinals of an ensuing single-game knockout phase.

The U.S. Men’s National Team opens the tournament on Friday, June 3 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., with the final set for Sunday, June 26 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
