Manchester United’s 26-year-old striker Javier Hernandez, currently on loan at Real Madrid, has attracted interest from MLS outfit Orlando City according to the Daily Mail.

The 26-year-old has been left frustrated by his lack of game time this season but he nonetheless has retained a large number of suitors from all over Europe and now North America.

Southampton, Wolfsburg, Inter Milan, West Ham United and Stoke City are just a few of the sides who have expressed an interest in securing the services of the Mexican forward currently rated at £8million but a chance to move to the MLS offers a completely different prospect.

With the striker having had a largely disappointing time in Europe, he may be wise to consider a move to America and what better way to get started than at Orlando City who already boast the services of former World Player of the year Kaka.

He will be guaranteed a regular place in the side with a lucrative salary to match whilst also providing him the opportunity to improve his confidence in front of goal.

If signed, Hernandez would represent a massive commercial draw for the Florida-based franchise who already have a large Latin-American fanbase.

His acquisition will also boost the image of the Major League Soccer who are not known for bringing players of his calibre before they turn 30 so that’s a good way to start changing that reputation.
