MLS teams Orlando City, LA Galaxy, Portland Timbers, Sporting KC and Seattle Sounders were the winners for attendances during the opening weekend of the 2015 season this past weekend.

All four legacy teams saw gains in their attendances compared to the opening home games of the 2014 MLS season.

Vice-versa, the losers in the first weekend this year were DC United, FC Dallas and Philadelphia Union who all saw declines in attendances.

Across MLS, Orlando City SC is currently leading the way in the biggest crowd of the season with 20,000+ more fans than even Seattle Sounders. It’ll be interesting to see if Orlando can keep that up in the coming weeks.
