Unfortunately for the majority of Chelsea fans, tonight may not be remembered for their club’s hard-fought 1-1 draw against the French champions, Paris Saint-Germain.

A shocking video has gone viral showing a portion of Chelsea supporters stopping an unidentified black man from boarding a Paris train.

As the man tries to make his way onto the carriage, he is forcefully shoved back on to the platform several times. The Chelsea fans also appear to be threatening the individual, before they begin chanting: “We’re racist, we’re racist and that’s the way we like it.”

Chelsea Football Club have released a statement strongly condemning the actions of the men caught on this video.

The club said: “Such behavior is abhorrent and has no place in football or society. We will support any criminal action against those involved, and should evidence point to involvement of Chelsea season-ticket holders or members the club will take the strongest possible action against them, including banning orders.”

The discovery of this video comes after a number of Chelsea supporters were teargassed by French police outside of the Parc de Princes, before and after today’s Champions League Round of 16 encounter in Paris.

A section of the away support were reportedly kettled and teargassed outside a bar in the city centre, as well as around 200 supporters who; 10 minutes after the start, were still trying to get into the stadium.
