The draw for the second round of the League Cup was revealed tonight with 13 Premier League clubs joining the competition at this stage, while current holders Manchester City and the other clubs competing in Europe will join in the third round.

The mouthwatering game of the round features Milton Keynes Dons against Manchester United.

The games, which will be played during the week of August 25, are as follows:

    UMMM. sorry but the game of the round is the Blades visiting Upton Park…

    Pretty sure there will be 90 mins of “there is only one Carlos Tevez” chanted.

    Last season with Moyes in charge utd fans would have been thinking the worst. I think LvG has enough experience to scrape through this game.

    I don’t think ManU will have a problem with the Dons, and will be the only time I root for them. Some of the ones I want to see (besides my AVFC match) are:

    Millwall vs Southampton (Millwall always gives it a go, and if they fail, can bring excitement with rioting fans)

    Burnley vs Sheffield Wednesday (A winnable game for the Owls)

    Birmingham vs Sunderland (I hope Sunderland destroys Small Heath!)
