Former soccer player Kwame Darko has released a song entitled “Bet They See Me Now (USA Soccer Mix),” which is in support of the US Men’s National soccer team who will be heading to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Darko, who played for the University of Maryland soccer team in college, was born and raised in the suburbs of Washington DC.

The song, produced by Felix Snow, is available as a free download.

Since the USMNT hasn’t released an official song for World Cup 2014, the “Bet They See Me Now” song should be the team’s national soccer anthem.

    Dear God,that is awful.

    Let’s face it, only England does World Cup songs. That said, this years official number is atrocious. Check out some of the unofficial offerings on YouTube. My personal faves this time are England by 1Eye and Welcome to Brazil by The Strikers. The Skatoon’s World Cups waiting for You from 2010 is a good one too.
