Egyptian Winger Mohamed Salah Will Join Liverpool From Basel in January, Says Report: Nightly Soccer Report

Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah will join Liverpool Football Club in January from FC Basel, according to a report tonight.

Salah’s close friend and former teammate Mohamed Zika revealed the news to Egyptian TV today. Salah, a 21-year-old winger with 27 caps for Egypt and who is valued at 12million Euros, was named CAF Most Promising African Talent of the Year in 2012.

“He makes us and all of Egypt proud,” said Zika. “Everyone talks about Mohamed Salah now. And aside from that, he’s my friend, so I’m even happier for him.”

  1. I'm all for Gus Poyets idea of living in the real world as long as he's willing to be paid a real world salary.

  2. Salah is a good player but a little rough around the edges. Since he's still 21 he can improve. Liverpool have been buying a lot of young players only for them to be sent out on loan or not feature much since they haven't turned out to be good enough to get into the fist team.

  3. if its true iam not sure,liverbool got a really talented player.they called him a "messi"of egypt.suarez ,zalah&sturridge.liverbool will be a team to beat for sure.if they get this young wonderfull talented player.
