West Bromwich Albion have been incredibly quiet in the summer transfer window, but news is emerging tonight that the Baggies are interested in signing Uruguayan captain and centre back Diego Lugano.

The 32-year-old Paris Saint-Germain defender is expected to visit the Hawthorns this week to discuss personal terms. And while Lugano is no spring chicken, he certainly has the experience on an international level to do well in the Premier League.
