Wolves have revealed their home shirt for the 2011-12 season.

The new design features a gold shirt with streaks of black down the arms and across the shirt. Designed and manufactured by Burrda, the shirt is simple yet elegant. The gold shirt features less black than in previous seasons as a result of feedback solicited by Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters. The shirt features the famous Wolves crest. And ‘We are Wolves’ neck taping and a small Wolves logo on the back under the neck.

The shorts are black, and the socks are gold.

I like it. It isn’t as orange as it appears in the pics, so doesn’t look so much like a Hull/Blackpool shirt – definitely Wolves’ shade of gold. Design wise it is spot on, very continental looking.

An assymetric stripe from tit to tit and it’s “simple and elegant”? Please.
Get rid of the g d stripes and we are golden.
