This week’s winner was scored by Fabrizio Miccoli.

Miccoli bagged two goals on Sunday against Roma but it was the first one which was particularly nice and helped set tempo for the rest of the match.  Sadly Miccoli left the match after experiencing a muscular injury in the second half and Palermo are currently awaiting results on the extent of the hero’s problem. Hope this absence doesn’t prevent us from seeing Mr. Miccoli again soon.

I’ve embedded all three Palermo goals so you can decide for yourself which one deserves the award of Special One’s Goal of the Week.

To be honest the third goal by Uruguayan Edinson Cavani was also a very good one. His route to goal was a bit scrappy once you consider the ball was almost lost at his feet (due to momentum), and the fact Roma keeper Doni came out to cut the angle in limited space very quickly. Yet Cavani did extremely well to maintain his composure in beating both Pizarro and Panucci to the ball and going on to thread the ball round Doni into the goal.
