In case you missed it, Bobby Zamora auditioned for the upcoming remake of the “Everyone Was Kung-Fu Fighting” music video today in his match for Queens Park Rangers against Wigan Athletic. The problem was that Wigan’s Jordi Gomez was in his way.

Zamora kicked Gomez in the head and was subsequently given a red card, leaving the R’s down to ten men.

    I thought that was allowed now? He was looking at the ball so it fine

    It was his follow-through that got him sent off. If he had tried to pull his leg away after he made initial contact with Gomez’s head he might have avoided the red card.
