The winners of the 2011-12 UEFA Champions League against the winners of the 2011-12 Europa League battle today in Monaco to determine the winner of the UEFA Super Cup.

Chelsea will play Atletico Madrid for a chance to win another piece of silverware.

  1. Chelsea is no longer a threat to best european teams which is ironic because the are a better team now. But the way the old team was set up made them very difficult to breakdown. They have too much players that actually want to play football now and dont have the drive to get back on defence. Theyve become like Bayern a very good attacking team but a poor defensive team. But their attack isnt good enough to compensate for their defense vrs the best teams in the champions league. BTW im not saying that Atletico is one of the best teams they just happen to have the best #9 in the world at the moment.

  2. Chelsea will lose the game because Di matteo went safe route rather than Attack A. Madrid.
    Take out Lampard, Put Oscar in the middle and Moses on the left.
    both Lamps and Mikel do the same thing.

  3. Why does FOX Soccer uses RobStone/WarrenBarton as commentators? I would MUCH prefer that they keep the original audio … it is so in-authentic to have two guys calling the game while watching it on monitors. The LIVE announcers provide infinitely better atmosphere!
