Video: Chelsea takes first Champions League title

Chelsea is the deserved winners of the 2012 UEFA Champions League after coming from behind to beat Bayern Munich on penalties.

The historic win for Chelsea, their first Champions League trophy in their club history, marks an incredible turnaround for Chelsea who, earlier this season, looked like they were going to fall out of the Champions League and drift down the Premier League table. Thanks to the herculean efforts of interim manager Roberto Di Matteo and the Chelsea players, the team had a wonderful turnaround, ending the season with FA Cup and Champions League trophies.

  1. Nonsense says:

If you watched it live on Fox, not worth the 30 second advertisement for each low quality vid – nothing extradordinary or footage from elsewhere.

Congrats Chelsea it was an amazing European run!

  2. CTBlues says:

Do you know if they parade tomorrow will be televised or streamed in the US?

    • The Gaffer says:

Unfortunately, I don’t believe it will. It’ll be at 4pm BST/11am ET, but you may be able to watch live coverage of it on British TV if you can find a feed.

      • Paul says:

If you can get a feed for Sky Sports News or Chelsea TV you’ll get it. Sky Sports News and Chelsea TV will have full coverage (starting at 10.30am your time), the general news channels will cover it but they’ll just cut in and out in between other stories but if you can find Sky News or BBC News you’ll get something at least.

  3. Paul says:

I’m not sure if this is only applicable to people outside the UK but they’re offering a free period of streaming Chelsea TV online. Try it, it may work.. just enter the promo code that’s on the page. Apologies in advance if this is UK only though!!,,10268~2757221,00.html?WT.mc_id=reactive-mp-free72h-ctvo

    • CTBlues says:

Thanks Paul I actually checked my email and because I thought I saw something about a 72 hour free trial of ChelseaTV.

Total replay started on FS at noon.
