Special 1 TV: Jose Phones Home (Episode 5)

Episode 5 of Special 1 TV has premiered, but to me — this is one of the weakest ones to date.

Mario Rosenstock is well known for imitating voices of famous football stars for the Gift Grub show on Irish radio. Talented he is, no doubt. But if you watched the above Special 1 TV episode — and then played it again but only listened to the audio — you’d get the same results. A couple of laughs. But ultimately the visuals of the puppets didn’t add much, if anything, to the overall lack of humor in this episode (the Ronaldo puppet bit was the one exception — very funny, indeed).

Chris: One of the better ones in my opinion opinion. You had to think about it a bit. Once you did, you saw it’s genius.

  2. Raatzie says:

Weak, but expected. What could you really do with Jose this week?
