portsmouth fc Pompey On Verge of Signing Ghana Captain

While the newspapers are abuzz with transfer speculation surrounding Carlos Tevez, David Trezeguet, Ashley Cole and others, it was refreshing to read an article in this morning’s Independent Newspaper about Portsmouth trying to sign Ghana captain and midfielder Stephen Appiah.

It’s been an amazing week for Pompey after they four nil away win against Middlesbrough. And now, the potential signing of Appiah will only send their fans over the moon.
