There are so many different ways to stay up-to-date with the Premier League in the US. We’ll cover everything–including how to watch on TV, stream, watch at the pub, and listen on the radio.

Where to find Premier League on US TV: There are three ways of watching and streaming the world stars of English soccer: Peacock, NBC and USA Network

Peacock

NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock (price: $5.99 per month) streams many of the biggest Premier League games as well as the Premier League TV Channel. Peacock doesn’t show every game, so be sure to check the Premier League TV schedule first. One of the best features of Peacock is Goal Rush, which is a whip-around show that shows all of the goals and major incidents when there are several Premier League games being played at the same time. Peacock offers thousands of movies, shows, and original content. If you do plan on getting Peacock, find out more details on Peacock’s website.

NBC

NBC’s over-the-air television network (price: free) broadcasts one Premier League every weekend, typically in the 12:30-2:30 p.m. timeslot on Saturdays. That game is also streamed live on Peacock. Once in a while, one of the big Sunday games is shown on the NBC network, but that rarely happens.

USA Network

Cable television network USA (price: varied depending on provider) typically broadcasts five Premier League matches weekly. Those games aren’t available on Peacock. Complementing the coverage of live Premier League matches is shoulder programming featuring Rebecca Lowe, Tim Howard, Robbie Mustoe, and Robbie Earle. Their analysis helps to keep viewers informed on all of the Premier League talking points.

If you miss the live broadcasts, USA Network broadcasts Goal Zone which is a highlight show catching you up on all of the goals you missed.

Where to find Premier League on TV

The TV network NBC Sports Group has exclusive EPL rights in the US through the end of the 2027/28 season and airs every single match across its platform of NBC channels and streaming service, Peacock Premium. Many of these Premier League matches are shown on the USA Network channel, while the over-the-air NBC broadcast channel airs most Saturday 12:30-2:30 pm ET matches throughout the season.

While most soccer fans in the United States watch the Premier League on TV via NBC and USA Network, many people are switching to legal streaming services to watch the games on laptops, smartphones, tablets, and connected TVs instead. The advantage is that you do not have to be tied to a cable or satellite TV subscription. Plus you can watch the games when you want, where you want, and on whatever device you prefer.

The four main streaming options to choose from in the United States (other than NBC Sports, which you need a cable/satellite TV subscription to authenticate to) are Fubo, Sling Blue, YouTube TV, and Hulu Live. Fubo offers access to NBC (in select cities), USA Network, as well as ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FS2, FOX Soccer Plus, FOX Deportes, and a ton of other channels.

Premier League’s popularity in the United States

The Premier League, also known as the English Premier League (EPL), is the most popular soccer league in the world. Globally, the league attracts nearly 5 billion viewers. The United States often attracts more than 1 million viewers for the biggest weekly games. In the 2022/23 season, NBC Sports averaged a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 527,000 viewers per TV match window.

The Arsenal against Manchester City game in March 2024 set a single-game record for Premier League viewership in the US, with an average of 2.5 million viewers across NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock. The same game also broke the US viewership record for a Premier League game on Peacock with 547,000 viewers.

Premier League clubs have earned as much as over $200 million from a single season of television broadcasting money in recent years.

Unlike TV networks in England where an average of three Premier League games are shown live every weekend, soccer fans in the United States have access to all 10 games live every weekend.

Premier League matches on the radio

Live radio broadcasts of matches are only available on talkSPORT on their website. However, our recommendation is to listen to Premier League broadcasts via BBC Radio 5 and BBC World Service (on weekends).
