Tubi to make World Cup game reruns available in 4K

Tubi, the free streaming service that’s under the umbrella of FOX Entertainment, is making reruns of World Cup games available in 4K.

With most 2022 World Cup group stage games featuring kickoff times of 5AM ET, 8AM ET, 11AM ET and 2PM ET, many fans will watch games on-demand. Viewing options galore are available via cable and satellite, as well as live and on-demand games from Peacock.

How Tubi World Cup 4K broadcasts will work

Of course, the best way to watch the FIFA World Cup is to see games live. And to live in the moment.

But if you are planning on watching games on-demand, Tubi is certainly a worthy option.

Reruns of World Cup 2022 matches are available on Tubi 30 minutes after a game ends. Plus the games are available in 4K. The best part of the news is that it’s free to watch games on Tubi.

Not only that, but there will be no advertising during the game action itself. According to a Tubi spokeswoman, “The experience will be similar to watching a live game: ads will appear before the match video starts and between the two halves (instead of half time).”
