The 2015-16 soccer seasons in Europe are edging closer to an end, and already many of the top European clubs are working feverishly on their transfer strategies for what is expected to be a very busy summer — especially in England where the Premier League clubs will enjoy more riches from TV rights than ever before.

Not surprisingly, the English clubs are the ones who have been busiest among the transfer rumors. Here are the top 5 rumors of the week in Europe brought to you by calciomercato.com:

1. Real Madrid and Benfica have made official offers to sign Boca Juniors star Rodrigo Bentancur. The Argentinean’s side president Daniel Angelici told TyC Sport on Thursday that the 18-year-old central midfielder is one of the hottest commodities of South American soccer and seems destined for a move to Europe very soon.

2. Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri is ready to extend his stay at the King Power Stadium for the next seven seasons. With Ranieri’s success in leading Leicester City during a miraculous campaign, it’s expected the Italian will sign on for several more years with the Foxes. But the Italian may wait until the Premier League title is in his hands before signing on the dotted line in order not to unsettle his squad in the remaining weeks of the season.

3. Champions League semi-finalists Manchester City will be looking to strengthen their midfield next season, when Pep Guardiola will take over from Manuel Pellegrini. The Catalan tactician has set his sights on signing Ilkay Gundogan, N’Golo Kanté and Amadou Diawara. According to Il Corriere di Bologna, the Citizens have already made a £11.8 million offer to sign the 18-year-old starlet who has been among the most brilliant midfielders in the 2015-16 Serie A campaign.

4. N’Golo Kanté is attracting interest among the best teams in Europe. According to Le Parisien, PSG has shortlisted the Leicester City star as a possible midfield reinforcement alongside Juventus ace Paul Pogba. The Frenchman, however, would probably cost the Ligue 1 champions more than £80 million.

5. Jose Mourinho talks with Manchester United have been put on hold. Reports are that José Mourinho talks have been put on hold, and that Ryan Giggs seems the most likely to take over at the Old Trafford after Louis Van Gaal’s reign. Having scored six goals in 11 appearances, Marcus Rashford will extend his stay with the Premier League giants, receiving a considerable pay rise. Rumors coming from a host of Italian newspapers suggest the Red Devils are keeping tabs on Barcelona and Chelsea target Marquinhos (from Paris Saint-Germain), while they are believed to have already made an offer to sign Fiorentina star Federico Bernardeschi.

Serie A matchday 12 pits AC Milan against their fierce rivals FC Internazionale in the eagerly anticipated Milan derby.

Both teams have experienced difficult times of late, however, the latest instalment is very important if either team wants to assert themselves in the fight for Champions League places.

Watch: AC Milan vs Inter Milan, Sunday 2:45pm ET on beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS Espańol & DishWorld

Inter recalled ex-manager Roberto Mancini to reignite the club’s fortunes, who won three crowns with the club during his first stint in charge of the club between 2004 – 2008. The previous manager Walter Mazzarri adopted a 3-5-2 formation, whereas Mancini deploys four at the back, with veteran Nemanja Vidic settling for a place on the bench.

There’s a great deal of pressure on the shoulders of 20-year-old Mateo Kovacic, who is normally used to play behind the main two strikers Mauro Icardi and Rodrigo Palacio.

The last time Mancini oversaw a Milan derby as the Inter manager, Filippo Inzaghi was playing for AC Milan.

Now the head coach of the Rossoneri, the former legendary striker is trying to form his legacy as a manager.

For the upcoming derby he is expect to start with both Fernando Torres and Jeremy Menez, but whether he uses attacking midfielder Keisuke Honda in behind the pair remains a point of significant conjecture. The Japanese star has experienced a dip in form and Inzaghi’s patience could be running thin.

AC have failed to secure a victory in the league for more than a month when Honda scored a brace in a 3-1 away win to Verona.

Strangely enough it feels as if Inter should start as favorites due to Mancini’s big-game experience and ability to instil composure into his side – something that AC may struggle with. It’s an experience and managerial trait that cannot be underestimated and for that reason alone Inter will have an advantage.

This is a crucial match for both teams, who are separated by just one point on the Serie A table, and if there happens to be a winner it could breathe new life into their respective campaign.

After Gameweek 9, the top of the Serie A table is split into two groups of teams. Roma and Juventus are dominating the championship, having both achievee 22 points thus far, scoring and conceding the same amount of goals (16 and 4). Behind them, there are seven clubs within one point, batting it out for the third place.

As it usually happens in the last few rounds, gameweek 1o will be divided into three days, from Saturday evening to Monday night. Saturday, anyway, looks the more interesting one, with four big teams on the pitch.

The first game of the day, Saturday at 10am ET, is the one that everyone is looking forward to seeing. Napoli v. Roma at Stadio San Paolo is more than a football game.

During the last Coppa Italia final between Napoli and Fiorentina, played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Ciro Esposito, one of Napoli’s supporters, was shot to death by a Roma fan during a brawl outside the stadium.

Esposito died after more than one month of agony and since that day this match causes lots of concerns for public security. Roma supporters will be banned from the stadium, hoping that it will be enough to avoid security worries.

The showdown between Azzuri and Giallorossi is the most interesting clash under the technical point of view. Roma reached Juventus at the top of the table earlier this week, while the mistake of Gonzalo Higuain from the penalty spot against Atalanta meant that Napoli drew and prevented Benitez’s side from reaching third place.

On Saturday afternoon, Juventus will play against Empoli, in their second straight away match.

In the last three clashes far from Juventus Stadium, Bianconeri have accumulated just one point.

Despite Massimiliano Allegri’s self-confidence during the pre-match press conference, it seems that the team is struggling more than last year to create goalscoring chances.

Against Genoa, Bianconeri had just three opportunities to score, including the save by Mattia Perin on Alvaro Morata.

On Saturday night, Internazionale will be battling it out against Parma, the bottom of the table club. The rapport between Internazionale supporters and manager Walter Mazzarri is still pretty low, despite the last two wins in a row.

The team has been booed also during the last match against Sampdoria, which they won 1-0 thanks to a last minute penalty scored by Mauro Icardi.

On the other hand, president Tommaso Ghirardi will be obliged to make some decisions over Roberto Donadoni’s future if his team won’t reach a positive result against Internazionale. The team is unexpectedly bottom of the table and Parma’s legend Hernan Crespo looks the favorite to replace Donadoni if things go wrong against Nerazzurri.

On Sunday, Sampdoria v. Fiorentina is a clash between two teams fighting for a Champions League spot, while AC Milan will have to keep their six matches unbeaten run at the San Siro against Palermo.

Serie A is a championship that doesn’t reach the quality standards of La Liga, Barclay’s Premier League and Bundesliga, but the gap between the clubs is closer in Serie A than the rest of European leagues.

AS Roma were the big losers of the round, slipping a further three points behind Juventus after drawing 0-0 against Sampdoria. On the other hand, their direct title rivals won 2-0 at home, with Arturo Vidal and Fernando Llorente on target for the league leaders.

Behind these two giants there’s plenty of clubs battling it out for Champions League places in Serie A.

Seven teams are just separated by four points, however, the two teams who share third place are Udinese and Sampdoria. Breathing down their necks are AC Milan and Napoli who have both begun to turn their fortunes around recently.

Three strikers who are all class acts in their own right were the round’s best players. Before the weekend’s action kicked off there was no sign of Llorente, Miroslav Klose or Gonzalo Higuain at the top of the scoring charts.

However, it was a time that all three signalled a return to form. Llorente and Klose both scored a goal each, whilst the former Real Madrid striker and Argentina international Higuain scored a sublime hat-trick.

Here’s a look at the three star performers from this round.

1. FERNANDO LLORENTE

Injuries have curtailed the Spaniard’s chance of hitting his physical peak. Under Antonio Conte last season he missed out on a string of matches at the start of last campaign. With just a solitary goal in his first 11 appearances, life got off to a difficult start for Llorente at his new home.

However, he found his form and scored a total of 16 goals, with seven of them coming via his trademark aerial ability. Again, he pounced on a high ball opportunity to help Juventus secure a comfortable 3-0 victory over Cagliari.

The club’s fans will be hoping this is the beginning of a goalscoring spree for the imposing centre-forward.

2. MIROSLAV KLOSE

This is a curious story or perhaps the German veteran is starting to show his age. Following success with his nation at the World Cup in Brazil, and in the process becoming the tournament’s most prolific scorer of all-time, he could be suffering from a post World Cup hangover.

When Filip Djordjevic from Nantes he wasn’t seen as a replacement and Klose was still regarded as the preferred striker in Lazio’s starting XI.

However, the team’s struggling start has seen Stefano Pioli rotate both of his primary strikers more than he would have expected, and Djordjevic hit the ground running with six goals in the opening seven matches. Pioli had never tried the two strikers together, however, he did it against Torino.

As soon as Klose came on at the end of the first half it took just 15 minutes for the German to benefit from the presence of Djordjevic and scored the winning goal that kept Lazio within a point of Champions League places.

3. GONZALO HIGUAIN

At the start of the campaign many believed that this man had the potential to be the competition’s top scorer.

Although he scored a first official goal against in the side’s Champions League qualifier, it was all in vain as they had to make do with a spot in the Europa League.

The irritability of missing out on Europe’s most lucrative competition appeared to spread throughout the squad in the early stages of the season, and particularly their Argentinean striker.

His sluggish attitude on the pitch also led many to believe that he could force a move out of the club in January. Thankfully for coach Rafael Benitez he was helped by Jose Callejon to score the goals.

But as they say, form is temporary and class is permanent and sooner or later the ex-Real Madrid frontman would be back amongst the goals.

Higuain’s subsequent hat-trick against Verona at the weekend couldn’t have emphasised this old adage more, and came as welcome relief to the manager and fans.

Consistency and keeping a sharp mental focus will now be key for the striker as Napoli go in search of a Champions League spot.

The international break is finally over, and regular service resumes in the top leagues across Europe including, of course, Serie A.

Although it’s been two weeks, the incidents sparked in the Juventus-Roma game are still fresh in the memories of Serie A fans and players.

AS Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis bashed Juventus one more time, saying that during his experience as a player, he always had the feeling of not playing on an even footing against Juventus.

He also added that it’s strange to see how many times Juve have won in Italy compared to the club’s history of poor results in Europe.

Programming note: For viewers in the United States, select games from this weekend’s Serie A, Championship and La Liga games are being shown exclusively on beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS Espanol and DishWorld. Even if you don’t have a TV subscription to beIN SPORTS, you can access those channels via online streaming service DishWorld for $10/month. Read our review of DishWorld.
The fight between AS Roma and Juventus will continue this weekend, when both teams play different opposition before getting ready for their UEFA Champions League matches next week.

AS Roma will begin Gameweek 7 against Chievo at Stadio Olimpico, while Juventus plays away against Sassuolo on Saturday. Both matches are suited for the Italian giants, even if they will have to keep their concentration to avoid unexpected problems especially from Maxi Lopez (Chievo) and Domenico Berardi (Sassuolo).

The battle for the third place will take place in Firenze between Verona and Milan, on Sunday. Fiorentina will host Lazio in one of the most interesting matches of the day. Both clubs started the season with some negative results and poor attacking performances.
But in the last few weeks, Khouma Babacar’s goals on the Viola side and Filip Djordjevic for the Biancocelesti have put the two clubs on the right path for a Champions League spot.

Filippo Inzaghi will return to Verona as a manager. The Stadio Bentegodi was one of the first stadiums where he starred as a footballer 20 years ago.

READ MORE — Check out the Serie A TV schedule for this weekend.

Two weeks ago against Chievo, the Rossoneri didn’t concede a goal to their opponents for the first time in the campaign. Against Verona, AC Milan will have to maintain consistency in defense to frustrate Luca Toni’s physical dominance.

The juiciest part of the day comes later on Sunday when Inter and SSC Napoli face each other in a San Siro clash. Napoli manager Rafa Benitez already finds his team ten points behind league leaders FC Juventus even with the last two matches featuring wins against Sassuolo and Torino. Despite the upturn, Benitez is still waiting for Gonzalo Higuain to appear on the scoresheet for Napoli this season.

The situation is definitely more complicated for Inter manager Walter Mazzari. After a strong debut season, the Nerazzurri lost the last two games in a row against Cagliari at home and Fiorentina away. According to rumors, Inter Milan President Erik Tohir may be losing his patience with the manager. And if the team suffers another negative result, Tohir could be pushed into making a decision on Mazzari’s future.

On Monday night match, the game between Genoa and Empoli at Stadio Marassi should still be on despite heavy flooding that has been inflicted on the city of Genova.

The polemic big match between Juventus and AS Roma was the most important clash of Serie A day six. Bianconeri took home a contentious three points, after two penalty kicks gave Massimiliano Allegri’s side and a thunderbolt strike from Leonardo Bonucci earned his side a precious victory.

After the final whistle, Roma captain Francesco Totti launched a verbal attack on the referees and Juventus. Manager Rudi Garcia, who was sent to the stands, echoed Totti’s sentiment on Twitter the following day after the match.

It wasn’t an easy weekend for the officials. AS Napoli also found a winner courtesy of controversial decisions too. Torino’s manager Giampiero Ventura was furious at the end of the match, with two credible penalty shouts not given.

In other matches, the Inter Milan crisis worsened with the Nerazzurri suffering their second straight defeat, 3-0 at the hands of Florence.

A strike by young gun Manolo Gabbiadini lifted Sampdoria to third place in the table. Despite his fine form, the forward does not feature in this week’s edition of Serie A top players, but if he continues to produce class performances then he should feature heavily throughout the season.

3. ALESSANDRO MATRI (Genoa)

The former AC Milan and Juventus striker added his third goal for the season against Parma in a 2-1 away victory. The 30-year-old is in fine touch, and despite being second striker behind Mauricio Pinilla (who has just one goal thus far, he’s beginning to stake a claim as the main man. Matri’s goal came via a poor mistake from central defender Alessandro Lucarelli and he capitalized netting a 93rd minute winner past goalkeeper Antonio Mirante. Safely in mid-table, Genoa and Matri have made a good start to the campaign.

2. KHOUMA BABACAR (Fiorentina)

When the season began Khouma Babacar was seen as the third-choice striker behind Mario Gomez and Giuseppe Rossi. Two injuries in the opening weeks has seen the youngster Babacar get his chance, and he’s taken it with aplomb. The 21-year-old Senegalese striker was on the mark against Inter Milan with a stunning goal – probably the best goal of the entire round. Babacar came back from a loan spell at Modena last season in Serie B, where he scored a total of 20 goals in 41 appearances, which was enough to convince the club to retain his services. Coach Vincenzo Montella will have no regrets whatsoever.

1. LEONARDO BONUCCI (Juventus)

Bonucci made not be the most pure of defenders at Massimiliano Allegri‘s disposal, however, the Italy international knows how to score an amazing goal. Most defenders usually find the back of the net via a header from a free-kick or a corner kick. Bonucci is an exception, who can score from long-range. Two years ago he scored a vital Champions League strike from outside the box against Shakhtar Donetsk, and he replicated that feat with a sublime volley against Roma to seal a last-gasp 3-2 victory. The Juventus fans erupted into joyous celebration, although the goal was contentious with Arturo Vidal standing in an offside position and block Giallorossi’s goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski’s view. No one wearing black and white felt any sympathy for Roma, as Bonucci and his men claimed bragging rights and a precious three points.

Serie A day six is the day of league leaders Juventus against AS Roma. The two major contenders for the Italian title are finally ready to battle face-to-face and provide us with more answers about who should be considered the favorite.

Bianconeri and Giallorossi are the only two Italian teams playing in Champions League this season.

Comparing last week’s European clashes, AS Roma look more than capable of challenging Juventus.

Both teams will have some defections. The most important are Daniele De Rossi for Rudi Garcia’s side, whereas Andrea Barzagli and Andrea Pirlo are key for Massimiliano Allegri’s team. However, the two Italian national team veterans are still yet to debut this season.

Roma’s legend Francesco Totti will be eager to replicate exceptional performance that he delivered against Manchester City on Tuesday night. If Roma were to claim all three points it would no doubt represent a stepping stone for Totti and his teammates.

On the other hand, Juventus have everything to lose. They are the Serie A champions of the last three years and they are hosting their most accredited opponents at the Juventus Stadium. Both teams will have ample time to recover from possible injuries and prepare for the match of the season thus far.

All the other teams will stare at the Juventus Stadium contest, with no title expectations as of yet. Rafa Benitez’s Napoli are in poor form and don’t look worthy of challenging for major honours. Sunday night the Azzurri are favourite against Torino at San Paolo, and still awaiting Gonzalo Higuain’s first goal of the campaign.

The other Sunday night match is between Fiorentina and Inter Milan at Stadio Artemio Franchi, Florence. Viola and Nerazzurri have been assembled to reach a Champions League place this season, but both teams are experiencing a problematic period.

Vincenzo Montella is in open conflict with the local press, which is criticizing the manager for some recent choices to the starting XI. At the same time, the former AS Roma player mayhave to deal with a long list of injuries which includes Mario Gomez, Giuseppe Rossi and Juan Cuadrado.

Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzari will be just as unsettled as Montella, following a heavy 4-1 defeat at home to Cagliari last time out.

Many believe the Juventus against Roma match is between the two favorites for the Serie A title, whilst the Inter and Fiorentina clash is seen as the battle for third place.

As far as a Champions League positioning is concerned, do not forget AC Milan as well. Rossoneri have failed to win in any of their past three matches, however, they face Chievo on Saturday with the chance to regroup. Defender Cristian Zapata will be out of action due to his red card last weekend against Cesena. Rumors have it that Stephan El Shaarawy will return to the starting XI, and will complement the likes of Fernando Torres and Jeremy Menez.

On Sunday evening most of the teams will fight to maintain a mid-table position. Parma are at home to Genoa and Lazio host Sassuolo.

Udinese are a surprise packet who are at home to Cesena, whilst Atalanta will travel to face Sampdoria who are also in a good vein of form.

If you love Serie A, you will enjoy the weekend of day 5, that will be split into three days. Saturday is time to play for the two most accredited Serie A contenders, Juventus and AS Roma.

The choices of both managers will be conditioned by their players’ fitness, as well as the following Champions League games, in program for next Tuesday (Manchester City v. Roma) and Wednesday (Atletico Madrid v. Juventus).

The Giallorossi are playing at home against Verona. Former Gialloblu winger Juan Manuel Iturbe won’t be playing because of an injury, suffered in the last Champions League match against CSKA Moscow.

The same thing goes for Daniele De Rossi and Davide Astori. They will be out of action for a few weeks.

The Italian national team midfielder, won’t be able to play neither the following, vital, matches against Manchester City in Champions League and Juventus in Serie A.

FC Juventus is playing away against Atalanta. Manager Massimiliano Allegri is expected to do lot of turnover and new sign Manuel Morata has a chance to start from the beginning.
Fernando Llorente has played the last few games from the beginning and Carlos Tevez has been resting on the bench for the whole mid-week game won 3-0 at home against Cesena.

After this round, Juve and Roma will face each other on day six.

The most important game of round five, anyway, is in program on Sunday. At Stadio Marassi, Genoa and Sampdoria are playing the “Derby della Lanterna”, with Samp looking favourite on the Rossoblu.

There is something belonging to FC Internazionale in this derby, as both manager passed through San Siro during their career. Sinisa Mihailovic, on a side, has played for the

Nerazzurri, while Gianpiero Gasperini trained them with no much success.
This derby used to be much more fascinating in the 1980’s and 90’s, but this year it can show some of the best young Italian talents.

First of all, Genoa’s goalkeeper Mattia Perin. The 21-year-old has been the third Italian National team goalkeeper, during the last World Cup and is at his second year with Genoa. He is always one of the best in the pitch for Giampiero Gasperini’s side.

Keep an eye also on young midfielder Stefano Sturaro, 21, bought by Juventus last summer for €5.5 million and left on loan for one more season in Genoa. Up in front one between Mauricio Pinilla and Alessandro Matri should play.

On the other side of Genoa, Sinisa Mihailovic, will count on raising star Stefano Okaka, that under the Serbian manager is delivering very consistent performances. He offered one assist and scored one goal in the last two matches, looking as fit as he has never been during his career, started in the youth teams of Roma.

On Sunday evening attention on Napoli, playing away in Sassuolo. Eusebio Di Francesco’s side have just two points on the table and scored one single goal, but Napoli obtained just four points in four matches and rumors concerning Rafa Benitez’s sack started already this week, after the domestic 3-3 draw against Palermo.

FC Internazionale will play at home against the last of the table, Cagliari, while AC Milan will play in Cesena. Chievo against Empoli is a match between two sides that want to avoid relegation, while the program of Serie A day 5 will finish on Monday night with Udinese battling Parma and Palermo at home to Lazio.

The most important talking point of Serie A’s day 1 was the AC Milan comeback.
The most important talking point of Serie A’s day 1 was the AC Milan comeback. The Rossoneri, leaded by club’s legend Filippo Inzaghi at his debut on the bench, won for 3-1 at home against Lazio.

The Rossoneri side deserved the three points, thanks to an amazing performance in front of their public. Italian star Stephan El Shaarawy, finally played on high standards, after being tormented by injuries during the last two seasons. The 21 year old striker placed the assist for Keisuke Honda’s opener and consistently gave the Biancocelesti defense trouble. Filippo Inzaghi couldn’t hope in a better seasonal kick off, while waiting for new striker Fernando Torres.

There weren’t many surprises in the Day 1 of the beginning of the 2014-2015 Serie A season.

Last year’s champions FC Juventus won 1-0 away against Chievo, thanks to an own goal by defender Cristiano Biraghi. Despite Antonio Conte’s unexpected exit and the arrival of Massimiliano Allegri on the Bianconeri’s bench during last summer, there aren’t many differences between this Juve side and the team that won the last three League’s titles. To be highlighted the huge performance of young striker Kingsley Coman, who has been chosen by Allegri to substitute senior striker Fernando Llorente.

Just like it happened last year, AS Roma are following FC Juventus step by step. The Giallorossi won the most interesting match of day 1, at home against Fiorentina. Despite a couple of miracles by goalkeeper Morgan De Santis in the second half, Rudi Garcia’s side played better than La Viola and found a super performance by midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who scored the opener and placed the assist for Gervinho’s final 2-0. The 26 year old is actually substituting Kevin Strotman in the Giallorossi midfieled, but if he will be able to reply this kind of performances during the next matches, it will be very difficult for Garcia to rule him out of the starting XI, when Strotman will be back.

Former Premier League midfielder Jonathan De Guzman gifted to Napoli three extreme suffered points against Genoa. The Dutch player has been called in by Rafa Benitez in the last 15 minutes of the game and scored the winner goal in the extra time, avoiding major problems for the Spanish manager, who was not able to target the qualification for the next Champions League group stage, earlier last week.

Former Swansea midfielder was not the only previous Premier League player to debut in Serie A. Nemanja Vidic was not as lucky as De Guzman, since the ex Red Devil caused a doubtful penalty against Torino (saved by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic) and has been shown a straight red card after clapping ironically at the referee. The final result was 0-0.

What about the new Serie A clubs? Palermo drew 1-1 at home against Sampdoria, Cesena won 1-0 at home against Parma and Empoli lost at Udine, after of two goals by the evergreen Antonio Di Natale who scored his goal number 195 in Serie A, just five behind soccer legend Roberto Baggio.

The best goal is definitely the one by Sassuolo’s Simone Zaza, against Cagliari. The 21 year old Italian raising star, can also celebrate his first call with the Italian national team, by new coach Antonio Conte.

The last few weeks of the summer transfer market always deserve some attention due to unexpected transfers, both concerning top players and bargain deals.
In the last few years, during the final stages of the transfer window, Italian supporters have become used to seeing top players leaving rather than arriving in their league.
The last three Serie A top scorers have all left the Italian championship after winning the Serie A golden boot award. Zlatan Ibrahimovic went to Paris Saint-Germain three years ago, Edinson Cavani went down the same path last year, while Ciro Immobile recently joined Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer.

Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva, Javier Pastore and Stevan Jovetic are examples of other players that said arrivederci to Serie A in order to play in more spectacular and remunerative leagues.

Like past seasons, many Serie A top players have been linked to other European giants. However as of now, the Mario Balotelli deal notwithstanding, no one major has left the Italian championship yet. Although this transfer season has not been as exciting as most, let’s look at the top five Serie A players likely to leave the League before the summer transfer window closes.

1. JUAN CUADRADO

The Colombian winger at Fiorentina played an unbelievable World Cup, leaving him as one of the best Colombian players after James Rodriguez, who recently joined Real Madrid for €80m.
The transfer value of the 26 year old winger is slightly less expensive, but still far from being inexpensive.
Manchester United and Barcelona are ready to pay €50m for him and the Viola president Andrea Della Valle has recently declared that “it will be very difficult to have Juan Cuadrado with us next year”.

2. MEHDI BENATIA

Another player who made a big difference last year. He is captain of the Moroccan National team and last year he played nearly every match under Rudi Garcia and scored 5 goals in 37 appearances. He is a complete full back, very capable in headers, but also very fast.
The AS Roma central defender has been linked with many Premier League top teams, although both president Pallotta and manager Rudi Garcia have always claimed that he won’t move from Rome.
Walter Sabatini, AS Roma sportive director has declared at the beginning of summer that his value is more than €60m, but the Giallorossi might negotiate his transfer starting from a price of €40m.
It is believed that a €38m offer from Chelsea is imminent.

3. MATTIA DESTRO

The Italian striker had an amazing comeback last January, scoring 13 goals in 20 matches, eventually becoming Roma top scorer.
The 22 year old striker was called up by Cesare Prandelli in the initial 30-men list before the World Cup, but was cut once the former Italian manager had to choose the final 23-man roster.
He is on Rudi Garcia’s plan for next year, but he could leave, teaming up with Ciro Immobile in the Bundesliga, as Wolsfburg are ready to offer €25m for him.

4. ALESSIO CERCI

The 27-year old striker can cover many roles up front. He can be a winger as well as a support striker.
Thanks to his 13 goals and 12 assists in the last 37 Serie A matches, he received the call of Cesare Prandelli in the last World Cup, even though he just played 30 minutes against Costa Rica.
The Torino winger could leave his mentor and manager Giampiero Ventura for €20m.
He is on Atletico Madrid’s target list. Even if he could stay in Serie A, AC Milan will try to sign him to have him in the roster.

The Serie A transfer market has been pretty disappointing so far this summer.

Italy used to attract the best players in the world, but due to the lack of cash in the league among many teams, it’s turning into a sad summer transfer window.

This year, the only top player coming from abroad has been bought by FC Juventus, as Alvaro Morata joined the Bianconeri for €22million from Real Madrid.

On the other hand, AS Roma, Juventus’ main rivals, are making the best of the transfer market so far, having welcomed on board one of the most interesting players of last year’s championship, former Porto striker Manuel Iturbe.

Since Serie A clubs have no more money to spend, also because of the recession in Italy, the few players that the clubs can afford are the ones arriving on free transfers via the Bosman ruling. In other words, players at the end of their contracts, available to move for free.

Most of the times, those players have an important international pedigree, but are not that young anymore, so that Spanish and English teams can afford to let these players go for free, and investing in new talents instead — just like Manchester United have done with Luke Shaw, who has arrived at Old Trafford, replacing Patrice Evra who has joined FC Juventus for €1m.

The French left back is not the only former Red Devil who has joined the old Serie A. Nemanja Vidic joined FC Internazionale a couple of months ago after that his contract with Manchester United expired.

Another player who arrived on a free transfer was former Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita, who joined AS Roma. AC Milan has been adopting the “free agent technique” for many years, but with mixed results. But the agreement with Alex and Jeremy Menez, both from PSG, represent two quality signings.

The last vintage deal in Serie A has been placed in the last hours by Verona. The Gialloblu that last year were the real Italian surprise, signed a deal with former NY Red Bulls player and Mexico national team captain Rafa Marquez.

All these players will definitely play a good championship in the upcoming season as they are better than the average Serie A players, there is no doubt about it. The only problem is that the acquisitions are not a good sign for Italian football. If MLS is growing thanks to older players finishing their career in the US, the trend is opposite in Italy where teams are buying older players since they can’t afford current top players anymore.

It was supposed to be an easy match for Italy. The match that would have sent the Azzurri straight into the last 16 of the World Cup. In the end, Costa Rica surprisingly qualified to the Round of 16 and, as a result, sent England out of the World Cup.

The Central Americans eventually won 1-0 thanks to a first half goal by captain Bryan Ruiz.

Before the match, Cesare Prandelli kept the same system that beat Roy Hodgson’s side in the Italian’s first match of the tournament. While the system was the same, Prandelli made three changes to the team selection. Captain Gianluigi Buffon made his World Cup 2014 debut replacing PSG goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu. Ignazio Abate played as right back, sending Chiellini to the middle of the defense, together with Andrea Barzagli. In the midfield, Thiago Motta replaced Marco Verratti.

Costa Rica played the same system where they got the stunning 3-1 win against Uruguay.

In the first half, Italy played as expected, using a lot of ball possession and trying to make the Costa Rica midfield chase the ball like the England midfield did on Saturday. This didn’t happen because Italy were too slow.

Pirlo was not involved in the core of the action, but the only important chance came from one of his amazing passes. After nearly 30 minutes in the first half, the Juventus midfielder found Mario Balotelli alone in the danger area. The AC Milan forward didn’t find the goal with a lob, and thus wasted the only chance that the Azzurri got in the whole game.

Just before the half time whistle, Costa Rica captain Bryan Ruiz surprised the Azzurri defense and goalkeeper Giauluigi Buffon with a header that touched the lower part of the crossbar and bounced down to cross the goal line.

In the second half, Prandelli made the brave decisio to involve three strikers in the game and replacing three midfielders. Antonio Cassano, Lorenzo Insigne and Alessio Cerci came in for Thiago Motta, Claudio Marchisio and Antonio Candreva.

Prandelli changed the system from a 4-5-1 to a 4-2-3-1, but the result didn’t change.

The Azzurri struggled to find the way to the goal for the second 45 minutes as well, while Costa Rica tried to hit them on the counter attack.

Italy didn’t even have one chance of scoring in the second half. The new strikers couldn’t find the right play to send Mario Balotelli through in front of the goal. And the AC Milan striker himself couldn’t find a way to create a chance against the Costa Rica defenders.

After four minutes of added time, the Central Americans celebrated an incredible and unexpected qualification to the last sixteen, while England are automatically out of the running with one match still to play.

It was supposed to be easy for Italy, but next Tuesday, the Azzurri will have to play the final group match match against Uruguay to qualify. Despite the loss today, a draw for Italy next week will be enough to qualify for the next round.

Colombia winger Juan Cuadrado is on Barcelona’s radar as a transfer target, according to press reports in Italy.

The Colombian star, whose contract is actually co-owned by Udinese and Fiorentina, has been among the best Serie A players last season and is, by far, the best player at Fiorentina.

Cuadrado played a key role in his World Cup debut against Greece, helping Colombia won 3-0. He made two assists. The first was for the Armero’s opener and then for the final goal by James Rodriguez.

During the match, Cuadrado showed how vital he is to Colombia, with his non-stop running and excellent individual skills. These are the skills Cuadrado is known for, as one of the best wingers in Europe, which would make him a perfect option for FC Barcelona.

The Catalans have always used a system with quality wingers, who are also amazing runners. Look at Pedro or Alexis Sanches, for example. Cuadrado can easily be the successor to one of them.

FC Fiorentina is ready to pay a €15m fee to buy out the other half of the player’s contract, but FC Barcelona would be still interested in signing the player. New Barcelona manager Luis Enrique was reported to have made an offer for the Colombian star before Fiorentina made their offer to Udinese.

It’s possible that Barcelona may wait until Fiorentina has bought the half of his contract from Udinese before trying to negotiate to sign the player. Reports are that the player could leave for about €30m.

The 26 year old winger has played his last season with Fiorentina, scoring 11 goals and making 8 assist in 32 matches.

Italy held off England 2-1 in Manaus in both sides Group D opener on Saturday night.

Just a couple of hours before the match begun, Azzurri Manager Cesare Prandelli had to scratch goalkeeper and Captain Gianluigi Buffon, who suffered an injury.

Prandelli’s set up against England with Mario Balotelli acting as single forward, while the Italian coach choose to play with a double playmaker: Andrea Pirlo and Marco Verratti both in the middle of the pitch. Their influence was vital in Italy’s victory.

On the other hand England Manager Roy Hodgson relied on the Liverpool’s players, choosing five Reds to start: Glen Johnson, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge. England’s midfield clearly lacked the quality of Italy, but their pace gave Italy fits.

In fact, despite Italy’s technique in the middle of the field, England created the best chances in the first 25 minutes. A quick shot by Sterling, coming after a series fast dribbling on left-back Giorgio Chiellini, gave England the opening salvo.

After 35 minutes Claudio Marchisio scored the opener after a magnificent dummy by Andrea Pirlo, who faked a shoot after a short corner, leaving the try to Marchisio. Juventus midfielder hit the target from more than 25 meters, making it 1-0 for the Azzurri.

But minutes later Three Lions scored the equalizer with Daniel Sturridge, off an amazing assist, delivered by Wayne Rooney. The move started with Raheem Sterling playing a perfectly weighted ball to Rooney was streaking down the left side. Before the end of first half, both Balotelli and Candreva each had a chance to put Italy in front but both were denied.

After five minutes into the second half, Mario Balotelli made the Azzurri crazy with joy completing a classy header after an amazing pass from Antonio Candreva.

After the former Manchester City man recorded the goal, the rhythm of the match was getting slower and slower, with the two Azzurri playmakers making the English midfielders chase a lot. In the second half, the Azzurri rarely conceded a chance inside the danger area to England who were wasteful in the attacking third throughout the second half.

After Uruguay’s stunning loss against Costa Rica, Group D is surprisingly led by the Central Americans just ahead of the four times World Cup winners on goal difference. They will play each other in the next match this coming Friday. England will play a vital game against Uruguay who will hope for a Luis Suarez’s comeback.

After the 2010 South African World Cup sham, Italy arrives at the World Cup as the Euro 2012 runners-up and one of the most talented teams in the tournament. The Azzurri will play into the group D, together with England, Costa Rica and Uruguay.

On the eve of the first game against England, Italians have been debating a lot over Cesare Prandelli’s choices. Prandelli himself declared during the preparation period that he focused his 23-man squad choices more on player form rather than experience.
That explains the calling of Torino defender Matteo Darmian, who made his national debut recently against the Republic of Ireland in the friendly at Craven Cottage.

Taking for granted that Prandelli will play with four defenders, let’s try to get into the coach’s mind and predict who could be his choices during the World Cup.

GOALKEEPER

Gianluigi Buffon would have been goalkeeper, but reports in Italy say that he twisted his ankle on a dodgy pitch in Brazil so PSG goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu is likely to get the start with Mattia Perin as back-up.

DEFENSE

In defense, Giorgio Chiellini can play both left back or central defender, but it is more likely that we will see him in the middle.

Matteo Darmian and Mattia De Sciglio can play both left and right back.

Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Gabriel Paletta are the designated central defenders. They will fight for two places if Chiellini will be chosen as left back.

Ignazio Abate can play right back.

SEE MORE — Everything you need to know about the World Cup.

MIDFIELD

The midfield is probably one of the best of the entire competition and Prandelli has many options in the middle of the pitch. Surely everything will pass through Andrea Pirlo, who will receive the ball from defense and will create the attacks.

Prandelli has filled the team with central midfielders, apart from Antonio Candreva, the only winger.

No matter the system, Claudio Marchisio and Daniele De Rossi will always be in the starting eleven, as well as Andrea Pirlo.

In a 4-3-1-2 system, the Azzurri coach has always used Riccardo Montolivo behind the two strikers. With Montolivo out, Marchisio should substitute him.

Prandelli can also use midfielders as supporting strikers. For example, Marchisio and Candreva will support Mario Balotelli in case of a 4-3-3, which will be rather more similar to a 4-5-1. In this case, take for granted that Marco Verratti will be in the starting eleven.

Alberto Aquilani and Thiago Motta are luxurious depth players. Aquilani is in the roster mainly because of Montolivo’s injury, but he is still between the most quality passers in Serie A, where he has played two quality seasons in the core of Fiorentina midfield.
Thiago Motta needs no introduction as he won the Ligue 1 with PSG. He is criticized by fans because he is not the fastest player, which is true. But he has an amazing technique and is tactically very smart.

Marco Parolo has played an outstanding season with Parma. He is a very dynamic midfielder — sort of Marchisio’s alter-ego, and ready to replace him when needed.

ATTACK

Mario Balotelli is Italy’s main striker. That’s the only guarantee for Prandelli up front.
Don’t expect to see Italy play with three strikers from the very beginning despite the presence of Alessio Cerci and Lorenzo Insigne, who are the only two attacking wingers in the list. Alessio Cerci can also play close to Balotelli (or behind him) if the coach chooses to play two pure strikers from the beginning.

Ciro Immobile is the Serie A’s top scorer and has just signed a new deal with Borussia Dortmund. He is the reserve central forward.

Antonio Cassano can be involved if Italy struggles to score. The former Real Madrid forward can always find the right play to hurt the Azzurri rivals.

Southampton striker Daniel Osvaldo is a target of FC Internazionale, the Italian press reports.

The 28-year-old striker played the last six months for FC Internazionale’s most hatred rivals and Serie A champions, FC Juventus.

The Argentine born striker joined Southampton last year for €15 million. He played the first part of last season at St. Mary’s Stadium, where he didn’t impress during his performances, scoring just three goals in 13 appearances. After a fight with his teammate, Jose Fonte at the end of January, Dani Osvaldo left the Premier League to come back to Serie A and play for Juventus.

At the Juventus Stadium, he hasn’t had a problem with any teammates, but his performances have not been impressive. He scored one goal in 11 Serie A appearances and the Bianconeri won’t pay the release fee of €18m to buy him from Southampton.

Now Inter Milan are now interested in the forward, who could be wearing the Nerazzurri shirt on loan for a season. It would be the 7th Serie A team he has played with, after Atalanta, Lecce, Bologna, Fiorentina, Roma and Juventus.

Osvaldo’s career has been full of high and lows so far. He played at his best at Espanyol, where he scored 13 goals in 24 appearences in 2011-2012 and the following two seasons at Roma, where he hit the big target 27 times in 55 appearances.

The Italy National Team have started preparations for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Coach Cesare Prandelli has called up 31 players (30 plus the 4th goalkeeper Mirante). This list must be reduced to 23 before heading to Mangaratiba, 100 km from Rio de Janeiro, where the Azzurri will have their headquarters during the tournament.

In the first press conference since the start of their preparations, Prandelli gave some direction about the kind of players that he is planning on picking to play in the final squad in Brazil. “It will be more important having fit athletes, rather than experience,” he said. The issue concerning the physical preparation of Italian players has been debated already by Prandelli, who spoke about the lack of fitness of the Azzurri last March, after the 1-0 loss against Spain at the Vicente Calderon.

During the World Cup qualifiers and the other friendly matches, the Azzurri have played both with a 4-3-3 formation (or 4-3-1-2 if a trequartista is used instead of two wingers) or a 3-5-2. Taking into account these two systems let’s see, role by role, what the Italian coach’s final decisions are likely to be.

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Salvatore Sirigu (PSG), Matteo Perin (Genoa), Antonio Mirante (Parma).

As it stands above. Parma Antonio Mirante is the 31st player in the list and unless any of the first three goalkeepers gets injured he likely won’t travel to Brazil.

Defenders: Ignazio Abate (Milan), Andrea Barzagli (Juventus), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Matteo Darmian (Torino), Mattia De Sciglio (Milan), Christian Maggio (Napoli), Gabriel Paletta (Parma), Manuel Pasqual (Fiorentina), Andrea Ranocchia (Inter).

Juventus’ defenders in this list have likely secured a place to Brazil. If Prandelli will choose a system with three defenders, Barzagli, Bonucci and Chiellini are all likely to play. Gabriel Paletta was impressive in his debut against Spain and is another one most likely on his way to Brazil. That should be all for central defenders, so it is unlikely that Andrea Ranocchia will be included in the final team.

There is a battle between Matteo Darmian and Christian Maggio who can both play as right back or right-winger. Despite Prandelli’s words, Matteo Darmian will probably pay for his lack of experience. Despite his brilliant season with Torino, he still hasn’t made his debut with the National team and is a more defensive option than Maggio.

Manuel Pasqual can cover all of the left wing from defense to midfield, and is one of the best crossers in the team, and should be included in the roster. Between Abate and De Sciglio, one might be left at home if Prandelli picks the midfielder Romulo Souza. De Sciglio is slightly favored as he can play both on the left and right.

Midfielders: Alberto Aquilani (Fiorentina), Antonio Candreva (Lazio), Daniele De Rossi (Roma), Claudio Marchisio (Juventus), Riccardo Montolivo (Milan), Thiago Motta (Paris Saint Germain), Matteo Parolo (Parma), Andrea Pirlo (Juventus), Romulo Souza (Verona), Marco Verratti (Paris Saint Germain);

Here there are two thirds of the Serie A champions’ midfield, as well as two thirds of the Ligue 1 champions’ midfield, plus Daniele De Rossi. All of them are ready to go to Brazil even if Marco Verratti is considered to be Andrea Pirlo’s alter ego and Prandelli may end up choosing a less static player.

Alberto Aquilani is another central midfielder and despite his positive season with Fiorentina, it looks like there is too much competition in the center of the pitch for him. Riccardo Montolivo is the likely choice since the AC Milan midfielder has been tried already as trequartista, behind two main strikers.

Parma’s Matteo Parolo is in a similar situation, with the majority of Italian media who consider him in competition with Marco Verratti.

Finally, Romulo Souza’s call to the team has been a true surprise for everyone. Prandelli needs a winger who can run a lot and Romulo can provide this in case Italy will play 3-5-2. Antonio Candereva, who has been brilliant this year with Lazio scoring 12 goals and 6 assists in 37 matches, is also likely to take part to the tournament.

Strikers: Mario Balotelli (Milan), Antonio Cassano (Parma), Alessio Cerci (Torino), Mattia Destro (Roma), Ciro Immobile (Torino), Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli), Giuseppe Rossi (Fiorentina)

The latest news on the pitch is that Antonio Cassano is back. He has not been on the National team for two years, but his comeback with Parma as a false 9 has convinced Prandelli to call him into the preliminary squad. The biggest question mark here is Giuseppe Rossi’s physical condition. The Fiorentina striker has played the last match of the campaign from the first minute after being back from a five month injury. If he is as fit he seems, he will probably go to Brazil.

It is also difficult to choose two more players to exclude, but I would say Lorenzo Insigne and Mattia Destro. If Prandelli will pick Balotelli and Immobile as main forwards, a third one (Destro) would be too much.

Lorenzo Insigne is on the ballot with midfielder Antonio Candreva, as Cesare Prandelli declared to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. That’s why the coach will probably go for a more defensive choice, since he will be still full of attacking options.

Cesare Prandelli also declared that he has already an idea about who will go and who won’t, but hopes to remain uncertain till the 2nd of June, the day Italy will have to present the final 23-men list for Brazil.

Borussia Dortmund is looking to replace senior forward Robert Lewandowski, who will join Bundesliga’s rivals Bayern Munich this summer. The German giant’s likely number one target is Torino forward Ciro Immobile, the Serie A’s top scorer. The 21 year-old striker scored 22 goals with Torino this year, but he is co-owned with FC Juventus.

Borussia Dortumnd’s board is in talk with Juventus and have likely found an agreement for Immobile, who is in his second year with the Serie A. According to the Italian media, last year’s Champions League finalists have offered €18m to the Bianconeri. However that is not enough. Juventus are aiming for at least €22m, partially because they have to share the collection with city rivals Torino. Torino president Urbano Cairo confirmed that the Granata still haven’t had a meeting with Borussia Dortmund.

Immobile would fit in well with Dortmund, in 2009 he played three matches as a substitute (one in Champions League) for FC Juventus, after his outstanding performances with the Bianconeri youth team. The following season, Juventus sent him on loan in Serie B, first to Siena and then to Grosseto, where he scored 2 goals in 20 matches. Pescara is where Ciro Immobile made his name. Under manager Zdenek Zeman he scored 28 goals in 38 matches, which proved vital for the historic club’s promotion in the Italian Serie A. Immobile wasn’t the only star of that team who, among the others, was also composed by striker Lorenzo Insigne and midfielder Marco Verratti. The trio that has made history at Pescara was split the following year. Insigne went to Napoli, and Verratti to PSG.

With Immobile still belonging to Juve, but co-owned with Genoa, he played his first full Serie A season with the Grifoni. He scored on his debut, but did not play up to expectations during the rest of the year, hitting only five goals in 33 appearances. This year Immobile has gone the extra mile with Toro. He scored 21 goals in 32 Serie A matches.

He scores with headers, shooting with his left and right foot, hitting from inside or outside the danger area. A modern forward, with skills that every manager and club in Europe are looking for, just like Robert Lewandowski, who will still be not easy to replace at the Westfalenstadion.

Thanks to his performances, Italy coach Cesare Prandelli is very likely to reserve him a place in the Italian national team for the imminent FIFA World Cup. Immobile has played 16 matches for Italy under 21 team, scoring 8 goals. He debuted with Italy’s national team on March 2014, in a friendly that was lost 1-0 against Spain.

After the Borussia Dortmund’s board visited Turin another club began to show interest in Immobile, Atletico Madrid. At the end of the season, the Spanish Champions League finalists, will probably lose their main forward Diego Costa , destined to Chelsea, and Immobile has all the skills to replace him. The Spanish have yet to talk to either to Juve or Torino.

Whether Dortmund or Atletico will sign the new Italian star, it is unlikely Serie A is the stage Immobile is going to perform on next season.

Roma’s heavy defeat against Catania last Sunday has given FC Juventus their 30th Serie A title and the 3rd straight under manager Antonio Conte.

While the Serie A path has always been pretty easy for the Bianconeri in the last few years, next season’s challenge will be becoming competitive in the Champions League. This year’s campaign ended up prematurely as Juve finished 3rd in their Champions League group, behind Real Madrid and Galatasaray.

Following the Champions League fail, the dream of playing and winning the Europe League at the Juventus Stadium has fallen down too, after the elimination by Portuguese champions Benfica, in the semi-finals.

Provided that Antonio Conte will still be the manager for next season, the board at Juventus Stadium is aiming to straighten the club’s position among Europe’s elite. If not winning, Juve need to be at least competitive in next season’s Champions’ League.
To do so, it is believed that Antonio Conte will swap the system, from the winning 3-5-2 to a new 4-3-3, which was tried this season during some matches.

Most of the main clubs in Europe are playing with four defenders, usually a 4-3-3, like Real Madrid, or 4-3-2-1, like Bayern Munchen.

So, who’s going to move position in the pitch and which types of players will Juve need for next season?

With four defenders in front of Gianluigi Buffon, the solid Giorgio Chiellini should move left from central defense, becoming the team’s left back. Chiellini’s performances in the middle of a 4-man defense are not as good, and that’s why he should be moved to the left, where he also played at the beginning of his career with Livorno and Fiorentina. On the other edge of the pitch Swiss midfielder Stephan Lichtsteiner would step back in the defense, playing the same role he had at Lazio. Andrea Barzagli and Leonardo Bonucci are likely to keep their positions as central defenders.

The midfield might not change too much, compared to this season. It’s almost certain that Andre Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio won’t move from Juventus Stadium next season. There are some rumors that suggest Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal may leave the club, bringing in fresh talent.

Pogba has been associated with many top clubs in Europe, especially Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munchen. Juve is asking at least €70m to let the Frenchman go, even if Sporting Director Giuseppe Marotta has denied that the 21 year old star will leave Juventus next year.

Fit attacking wingers are vital when playing with 4-3-3. The only one available at the moment is Simone Pepe, who’s not healthy, being out since nearly two seasons, due to an injury. There are currently three wingers on the Bianconeri target at the moment.
The first one is the Portuguese star Nani. According both to Italian and English media, he is the first purchase of Juventus for next season. The 27 year old has just played 16 matches this season at Manchester United, scoring one goal. The deal between the Red Devils and Bianconeri should bring Old Trafford €5m and €4m per year for the Portuguese player, who has won four Barclays Premier League titles, two League Cups, a FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Champions League his in seven years at Old Trafford.

PSG Jeremy Menez is also under scrutiny. The Frenchman would join Juventus as a free agent next June, when his spell at PSG will end. The 26-year old already knows the Serie A championship as he has played for three season at AS Roma.

Alessio Cerci is another player who is under strict control by Juventus’ board. Thanks to his brilliant season at Torino, with 13 goals and 11 assists in 35 matches, the former Fiorentina and Roma will also join the Italian selection in Brazil for the FIFA World Cup, but Torino’s city rivalry with Juventus won’t make it an easy transfer to make. No surprise that Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente will be confirmed in the attack. This season they scored together 34 goals in Serie A.
