Support Stan (EPL Talk Review Podcast)

Title defining weekend? You can only connect the dots looking backwards, but it seems that the press have already placed United’s hands on the Title. City might feel insulted by that, but they insulted themselves with some childish displays of disrespect on the pitch. Does this hand the cup to Manchester Red or is there still time for a turn-around?

Of course, the podcast title makes a difference to our subject matter, “Stan” receives an honourable mention and dedication during the podcast. The thoughts and feelings of all involved with EPL Talk are with the family at this time. Nothing but positivity.

There is also a tribute to the late, great Giorgio Chinaglia, links below are mentioned in pod:

Of course, there was some quality football mixed in there for good effect. Newcastle schooling Liverpool in the art of upgrading and Sunderland capitulating. Which is worse? At least one side built a lead.

Dempsey putting in more decent performances when it comes to Fulham, proving himself to be the best American to grace the league? This article discusses more:

The title isn’t won yet, far from it. When city had the lead I said anything more than a 5 point lead would be difficult to overcome and that hasn’t changed even if we get a result today, as long as it’s 5 or less points with the derby still to be played its still up for grabs.

If city don’t get a win at Arsenal though Next week it’s pretty much over and once again we will be deserved champions.
