Midweek Games ARE Good Fun (EPL Talk Preview Podcast)

The Premier League shows no sign of slowing up in the coming weeks, even after a hectic holiday schedule. If anything it is getting more intense. So the pod is here to work out where it’s all going right for your side.

This week Kristan Heneage and Matt Duncan cross-section; Man City and their spending; Liverpool and their lack of confidence; and why Spurs could be a legitimate worry up north.

Harry has been tipping other players in the transfer market again and annoying a certain club with his rumblings. Is he within his rights to do that? Especially when there is an cup competition in Africa approaching.

Messi won the Ballon d’Or, hooray! Here is a short video to help you appreciate why. Feel free to click any of the links at the end of the video to access more compilations of the great man.

If you could nominate one person as player of the season in the EPL who would it be?

We also preview the weekend matches. There are plenty of season changing matches taking place this weekend so share your views with the pod and become a greater part of the voice. Tweet along with the podcast and give us your views for the next show:

David Silva is the player of the season in the EPL. City lack creativity when he’s not on the field. Joe Hart would be my second choice. he is by far the best goalkeeper in the EPL and has kept City in many a game with his terrific saves. Third choice is Demba Ba.

It was in fact me who claimed that Sunderland were top of teh form table and for that I apologise, of course I forgot to factor in last nights results.
Other than that what did you think of the pod? Always good to get some feedback.

I really enjoy it, I think you guys give a more sober analysis of what’s going on than any pundit on radio or TV. Keep up the good work!

And, sorry to rain on Christian’s (sp?) parade, but Sunderland are not top of the form table. After the Everton game, Spurs are. The only team that is undefeated in their last 6 matches.

42 mins: Er, the difference between £500billion and £1trillion is like the difference between £100 and £200. :p
