Chelseason Conclusion (EPL Talk Preview Podcast)

Chelsea finally make some waves in April, not too little too late. In fact, they’ve hit form at the perfect time. Of course, form is temporary: just ask AVB. But it is important to find it at the right time. Most people credit that to Roberto and his positive outlook at Cobham.

One Roberto who has been less positive but getting results resides in Manchester. As his side chase Sir Alex at the top of the table, does game order really change the way that a season pans out? Or is that just excuse making?

Do you guys think they will stand a chance against Barcelona next week?

      Thomas,

Personally I can not see them being able to stop Barca scoring at least one at the Nou Camp and so, unless they fancy a cheeky penalty shootout, they will need to grab a goal themsleves – tough ask.

If, and this is a big if, they can keep it at 0-0 until half time then maybe the space will open up for them a little bit as Barca press even more. They need Drogba to be fit as well. What do you think their chances are?

I am sure that we will be looking at this at some point on Sunday’s pod – if only briefly.

      Cheers,

      Matt

Is there any way to download the podcast from the site? I signed up for the RSS feed with Google reader but it just links me back to the site. I’m on an android phone so no iTunes or Zune store.

Laurence / Gaffer….I see that you put this podcast up about 13 hours ago now. Any idea why iTunes still doesn’t have it?

I got mine last night on iTunes. It does that now and again. Best bet is to delete the EPL Talk Podcast, and then resubscribe and you should see the newest episode. Thanks Cody.

      Cheers,
      The Gaffer
