Hi guys, have to disagree about your views on people’s appetite for live sports. The Jordan documentary is doing so well because everyone is starved of new sports content. It always would’ve been popular since it’s Michael Jordan, but to the extent it’s become appointment viewing is a function of there being nothing else sports wise to look forward to that hasn’t been seen already.

The classic games gimic was interesting for a few weeks, but as Christopher noted about the beIN ratings, we have grown tired of it.

I do believe the Bundesliga ratings will see a bump, provided Fox markets it so the casual sports fans are aware it’s on of course!

Consider myself on the extreme end as a sports fan so my view may not apply to all. However, got to the point I even watched some of the eMLS stuff last week and actually found myself enjoying it solely because the end result wasn’t known. I’d probably watch a rock/paper/scissor tournament to be honest. Hell yeah I’ll make sure to watch all the Bundesliga possible and pray it goes well and paves the way for Serie A, La Liga, and Champions League to return too. Then if that goes ok there’s hope for NHL and NBA resuming their season (playoffs at least) over here!

The passion, quality, and flair of the Belorussian league notwithstanding, THANK GOD Bundesliga is coming back. Can’t wait!!!
