In the above it was forgotten to address that Christopher again mentioned MLS’s not using Pro/Reg. Well since they are franchises that as mentioned go for 100s of millions in the MLS and the USL franchises go for I believe 10 million, how would that work?
The setup in the U.S. is not the same as in other leagues. So, why is this topic not put to rest?

I do not know where the 600 million figure comes from for MLS teams 31-32. The sources that I have seen say the it will be $300 million. New investors not being willing to pay even that amount. The likelihood that the investment will be repaid via a big TV package is probably not going to come true, unless the number of viewers increases or there is real competition for the rights.
None of the current teams are losing money big time but only 3 or 4 teams actually made a profit. A while back Chris said the a problem was the length of the season, well this year season was a month shorter. Do not now remember the manager that said this week that is was too short, he needs to spent time in K.C. or Minneapolis in February or December!
Thanks for your information and god work!

It seems that Disney is shortchanging their abc affiliates by denying them the final. They’re continuing to screw them over on sports coverage overall.

Looking forward to listening to the podcast after work. Doesn’t look like you discussed how to watch the FIFA Club World Cup, would you please do so in the next podcast? I’d also be interested in your thoughts about this competition.

Either one of the other writers or I will post the entire schedule this weekend. But most of the games will be on FS2 and FOX Deportes.

We’ll discuss the competition on next Thursday’s pod.
