A Good Weekend (Premier League Weekend Review Show, Gameweek 5)

The pod concludes that this is the best weekend of football that we have seen so far this season. With simultaneous competitions getting underway in September it is now time to use squads more wisely and see who has spent well. A few weeks out of the transfer window and the first signs of buying with forethought might be showing at the top of the table.

With a glut of big games on Sunday this podcast is presented in two-halves. Saturday and Sunday. Saturday offered a show of class and determination from ‘The Rest’ whilst Sunday threw up surprises and questions for some of the ‘Sky Six’. We go in depth on Blackburn v. Arsenal, Spurs v. Liverpool and the most positive clash of the weekend Man Utd v. Chelsea

THANK YOU!!!!! I was looking all over for this. My son hears the song at the beginning of the show, yells “Soccer!” and starts dancing around and shouts out the logos of the EPL teams.

Extremely off-topic. Does anyone know the name of the song played at the beginning of the Premier League Review Show? My son dances to this when it comes on, and I’d love to get hold of it in some format I can play on demand for him.

      Eric,

The name of the song is “Fire” by the English band Kasabian. Pretty sure it’s available on iTunes.

How about the song that they play at the end of the BPL Review/Preview show? I like it a lot. Does anyone the name so I can find it?
      Thanks

If you have an iPhone, download the free app named Shazam which you can use to tell you what the name of the song is.

        Cheers,
