Find out where, when and how to watch the giants of European soccer with our Champions League TV schedule.
In the United States, Turner Sports has acquired the English-language television and streaming rights to both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches that began with the 2018/19 season and will end after the 2020/21 season. FOX Sports will no longer broadcast the Champions League.
The most high-profile Champions League matches on Tuesday and Wednesday gamedays during the season are televised live across TNT and channels on DIRECTV as well as DISH.
TNT and Univision Deportes (now renamed TUDN) will televise UEFA Champions League games throughout the season.
For streaming, the UEFA Champions League and Europa League games will be on B/R Live as well as fuboTV (in English and Spanish).
Preliminary rounds begin in July while playoff rounds of the tournament are in August. The group stages of the competition are played from September through December. Round of 16 games are played during February-March, quarter-finals in April, semi-finals in late April and May, while the final is at the end of May.
For the 2019/20 Champions League season moving forward, games will be scheduled for 12:55pm ET and 3pm ET on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

You’ve got some repeated fixtures in there!
Each pairing of teams plays two matches (with the results combined for a final score).
Hello again. Where did you find the information of this schedule? On the fox sports website it only shows tv listings of matches on the 1st match day
The FOX Sports team doesn’t update their website that often with TV listings. We have contacts inside the industry that provide us with TV and streaming listings.
Ok
How many people have watched the UCL 2018 final kiev Real Madrid VS Liverpool in the USA??
3 million+: http://worldsoccertalk.com/2018/06/04/real-madrid-liverpool-champions-league-final-climbs-3-million-viewers/
Didnt you just show legia warsaw on fox sports 1? Why are the channels changed?
The TV schedules are always subject to change, but you can still watch the game on FOX Soccer 2GO or Sling TV with a free 7-day trial.
Everything was a lot better when FS1 was showing the games!
I mean FOX SPORTS! TNT sucks
Okay
Gaffer can you please explain which Sling package and where/how to catch the Lilywhites as they go where no Irish team has tread before?
It would be Sling Orange. Then you can use your Sling Orange login info to access ESPN3.COM to watch the game.
We shouldn’t have to do any of this! FOX SPORTS was better and could show multiple games on the same day.
Espn3 is streaming most if not all of the matches this week. How is it that both Espn and Fox have streaming rights to the Champions League matches? I am happy that a service I already pay for with Xfinity-Espn3- is streaming so many matches!
All of the ESPN3 UCL broadcasts are in Spanish.
They’ve moved several of the games to ESPN3 in English-language now too.
Outrageous! the way Italian teams especially Juventus are treated
So the UEFA Champions League won’t be on the FOX network?
After the end of the 2017/18 season, correct.
Sorry for my ignorance but will the 2017 UEFA CL Final be on FOX (free-to-air television)?
Yes it will be
Unfortunately no! Which sucks!
I think your days for knockout rounds are off by one day each. All matches should be on Tue/Wed instead of Mon/Tue as shown.
Are the CONCACAF Champions League matches going to be televised this spring in English?
Hopefully yes, but no decision has been made yet regarding who will acquire the English-language rights.
Expect CONCACAF Champions League matches with English-language commentary to be made available on YouTube, with “World Feed” commentary by a single announcer calling the matches from a sound booth at Vista Worldlink in Dania Beach, Florida.
The voice of USL Match of the Week (2nd division U.S. club soccer) on ESPNU and ESPN3.com, Mike Watts, should be on the call for many CONCACAF Champions League matches as most USL telecasts on ESPN3.com originate from the same sound booth at Vista Worldlink.
Spanish-language coverage of CONCACAF Champions League will be on Univision Deportes Network, with some overflow matches on Galavision if necessary. Authenticated (password-protected for pay TV subscriber of Univision Deportes Network) access via streaming should be available on UnivisionDeportes.com and the Univision Deportes App.
Now that Go90’s gone, any news on CONCACAF Champions League rights?
No news on English-language rights, but the CONCACAF Champions League in Spanish will be available via Univision Deportes http://worldsoccertalk.com/where-to-find-soccer-on-us-tv-and-streaming/
Hi Chris,
I was going to switch over to Dish and use the offer on this page, but the code doesn’t work. Plus Bein & FoxSports + are not part of the 190 channels package.
Has this offer expired?
Thanks
Sorry Brian, the offer has expired. They’ve shifted their plans around. For soccer fans, the best one appears to be the America’s Top 250 which is $89.99/month. The offer on the page has been updated above to reflect the update by DISH.
WE SHOULDNT HAVE RO DO THIS AT ALL! Fox Sports was amazing with the games! Everything was free and simple and perfect! I hate that FOX lost the rights. I never missed a champions league game with them. This is just outrageous
the listing above says the final will be on FOX. That means the free-to-air FOX?
Yes, the final is over the air on Fox.
Espn3 is streaming most if not all of the matches this week. How is it that both Espn and Fox have streaming rights to the Champions League matches? I am happy that a service I already pay for with Xfinity-Espn3- is streaming so many matches!
FOX has the rights this season (their final season) but they sublicense some of the games to ESPN Deportes and ESPN3. For the 2018/19 season, all games will be on Turner Sports and Bleacher Report.
My local channel MSG broadcasts a UCL game a day that is not on FS1 or FS2. Will they keep doing that come 2018-19?
Unless they make a deal with Turner no, they had a deal with Fox to rebroadcast a game.
The only way to watch the UEFA champions league and UEFA Europa league is turner sports / bleacher report live staring August 2018- June 2021.(TBS, TNT, TRUTV)
Unfortunately the answer is no unless Turner does a deal with them, which is unlikely. Sorry!
Do you know if the UCL Final will be simulcast on FS1 or will it just be live on FOX?
It’ll be live on FOX and FOX Deportes. No simulcast on FS1.
I just learned that Kate Abdo is to anchor Turners coverage of the Champions League starting next season . What are these people out of their mind . She is the absolute wrong person . Kate Riley would be the better choice
Always thought she was a little weak when presenting La Liga on Sky… not a lot of in depth knowledge.. but I’m assuming that’s not why they are hiring here. Would have preferred a good group of pundits… but I hear they hired a basketball player… so no hope here. As long as they use the world feed for commentary they can have a monkey presenting and I won’t care.
Cantona—-
Me to . Well said Cantona
Learned that FOX lost US telecast rights for UEAF Champions League as well as Europa Cup for 2018-19 season. Do you know who gained these rights. I suspect it’s ESPN.
Cliff, here you go: http://worldsoccertalk.com/2017/08/18/turner-sports-champions-league-faq-big-changes-us-soccer-fans/
Gabriel JULY 5, 2018
Are we able to watch every single match of champions league on Turner sports which is TBS, TNT and Trutv. also what is bleacher sports and how it’s works. It’s on dish service or streaming online. If so what is the prices.?
Thanks
What about univision deportees coverage?
Univision Deportes will broadcast the Champions League, but no details yet regarding the specifics. When we find out, we’ll update this page.
Those are great “free” news
Univisión and UDN will air the UEFA super cup.
B/R Live is the Bleacher Report streaming service at live.bleacherreport.com No pricing details have been announced yet. More details about B/R Live can be found here: http://worldsoccertalk.com/2018/03/27/faq-bleacher-report-live-new-home-uefa-champions-league-online-usa/
Turner Sports haven’t announced their TV plans yet. We’ll update the page when the details are announced.
So B/R Live currently says that Alashkert vs. Celtic is not available in my zip code and for my TV provider (with no options for streaming services like Sling or does it say anything about it being shown on B/R Live, except ). But helpfully they also say the service is free through June (It is July 6th). I suppose there is a reason why they are still in beta. Hope they get serious when the qualifying rounds come along.
Hi Tony, did you sign up for a free B/R Live account? When I go to the Alashkert-Celtic page on B/R Live, it shows a ‘Free’ video icon (it’s being streamed for free through B/R Live).
I download the app, there are some matches on B/R with free icon on top of video. I tried to click it . It tooks me to option ( Way to catch ) . We need to have tv provider in order to watch these games. Some people don’t have tv provider including me, So I don’t know why it’s say free video. Looks we will lose privilage to watch UCL especially the qualifications starting next month. Hopefully will have an idea about there plan within couple of weeks.
Thanks
Well, I did sign up and I get both the ‘free’ video icon and at the same time it says “We’re Sorry. No options appear to be available based on your zip code and tv provider.” But if I go to my local team’s (Rapids) B/R Live page, it provides accurate information (including bars where I can go see it, which is cool).
At any rate, they don’t seem to offer on demand yet, so matches played during working hours are useless to me.
any word on the UEFA Nations Cup matches??? Looking forward to this is Sept.
I believe ESPN has the rights to Nations League. Hopefully they won’t relegate it to their buggy ESPN+ platform.
Ok, what’s the website.it might I have the wrong one. Is it live bleacher report.com ?
Yes. https://live.bleacherreport.com/
I just gave up from this B/R Live website.same thing
Watched the Free games on B/R Live without any problem . No commentary except the Celtic game
Valur Reykjavik vs. Rosenborg BK wasn’t available in B/R Live, and except the Celtic game, there was no commentary in the other matches, probably because the Celtic game was directly streamed from the Celtic TV who have their own commentators.
Will Univision transmit the 2018 UEFA Super Cup?
If so, in what channel, Univision, UniMás, Galavisión or Univision Deportes Network?
Yes, it’ll be on Univision but no announcement about which channel yet.
I just saw on UDN while watching VER-UNAM, 2018 UEFA Super Cup on Univision and Univision Deportes Network.
When turner sports is gonna show a promo commercial on TV.
This is so confusing . So for the Champions League, ALL the games will be shown on Univision has 4 channels they can broadcast from Univision, Galavision, Unimas & Univision Deportes.
Are all 4 of these channels available in the US through cable or satellite?
Is possible?
I have DirectTV now (basic package), when I log in on UnivisionNOW I see all 4 channels
I’m in Los Angeles. I get Univision (channel 34) and Unimas (channel 46) from over the air antenna. Univision Deportes and Galavision are cable channels.
This is retarded and an epic fail. Nobody is going to pay $79.99 to watch the champion live on stream and hope the connection is good to go on a smart phone or a 13inch iPad Pro when Costco is selling on average 65 inch tvs… you can’t garentee to call friends over to watch together if the bleacher report app won’t connect with the smart tv. Freaking technology should make things easier not harder … epic fail by TNT b/r live and champions league in the states .. forced to learn Spanish now
Champions in the states now = retarded … won’t even have reruns at nights like FS1 and fs2 use to have for most of us that work for a living … and now we neede to learn to speak Spanish more than ever …. looks like English language is begging replaced with Spanish which is fine because more action when a goal is scored on Spanish speaking channel ( (gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool !!!!!!!!!!!) Instead of just goal!!!!
Just FYI, spoke to B/R and they are applying a patch that will hide the scores for games that are available for replay. Similar to what ESPN+ does.
I subscribe to Sling Orange and was getting Bein and UDN for $5 per month by adding on the Spanish package. That was really a sweet deal. It seems Sling (and Dish) will now lose UDN for sure. What are the options to get UDN without cable? I need the games on demand to watch in the evening. Thank you.
Your best bet is to get fuboTV which includes all of the beIN and Univision channels as well as NBC and FOX and more.
More info at http://worldsoccertalk.com/watch-soccer-via-fubotv/
Does FUBOtv have an app that works on smart tv?
Not on Smart TVs, but they have apps on:
Android smartphones
Android tablets
iPhone
iPad
Apple TV (4th & 5th Generations)
Amazon Fire TV (Beta)
Roku
Chromecast
Android TV
Quick poll on which one is dumber:
1. UCL feeds on Fox Match Pass (and some ESPN3 games) last year that didn’t display score or game clock. You don’t know the score or time left unless someone scores.
2. B/R Live menu that forces you to see the score of the match before you watch it.
It just seems the whole user experience was designed at these companies by someone who never watched a single UCL game as a fan living in the US.
Kiev vs. Ajax at 3pm on 8/28 and PAOK vs. Benfica at 3pm on 8/29 are both being shown on TNT. Along with their (terrible) pre and post match shows.
Where can I sign up for TNT.S B/R monthly plan ?
Where can I sign up for TNT.S B/R Champion’s League Games?
You’re showing Inter Milan vs. Spurs (and other matches) on Sep 18 is available on Sling Orange. What channel is it on? I know it’s also available on Galavision, but Sling no longer carries it. Thanks.
You’re correct. Galavision is no longer available on Sling TV. I’ll update the TV schedule accordingly.
Which service carries a complete complement of all EPL, UCL and EUROPA LEAGUE matches?
The one that has access to the most of the games is fuboTV:
EPL – All games except the ones on NBC Sports Gold
UCL – All the games on TNT, Univision, Univision Deportes Network, UniMas and Galavision as well as all of the games not on TV via authenticating with the Univision Deportes app
UEL: Same as above (note that only the final is on TNT)
Why couldn’t they have put 2nd and 3rd games on TBS and TruTV like they do NCAA March Madness?
It is a nightmare now to try and watch champions league. All these different networks and must pay extra. What a pain. Great way to screw up football viewing.
Are the games on Wednesday February 20th not on TV?
One of them will be on TNT, but we’re not sure yet as of writing.
All of these games needs to go back to FOX! They need to get the rights back!
Chris,
Can you watch champions league replays, via the univision now supscribtion service?
Subscribers can instantly watch programs from the past 3 days (72 hours) of the live stream using the program guide, and can watch hundreds of primetime and library shows on demand. Not all Univision and UniMás programming is available through the Univision NOW service.
Hi. “Using the program guide”?
I have signed in to univision now and searching for UEFA, Juventus, Ajax, Barcelona all come back with nothing. The main screen has a “What’s on Now” and a “Catch up on [Univision][[Unimas]” etc. but there is no sign of sports/deportes. Has anyone (including CH) actually successfully watched a match within 72 hours? Please let me know how to find as I’d like to see some of the Ajax match that I couldn’t watch live yesterday and don’t have B/R.
Univision Now only features programming from UniMas and Univision, which are both free-to-air. Univision Deportes Network is a cable/satellite network and is completely different. Same with Galavision, which is owned by Univision Deportes.
Ajax-Juve was on Galavision. If you don’t have Galavision on your cable or satellite, you can watch it through fuboTV.
You can authenticate your subscription and get Univision Deportes on the app tho, right? I think it’s Galavision that for some reason doesn’t recognize authentication.
Correct. But you should be able to authenticate to watch Galavision through the Univision Deportes Network website at https://www.univision.com/deportes
I have 1 of 2 Univision channels. I also have Galavision and Univision Deportes Network. UniMas and the other Univision is not free to air on my cable, it’s in the Spanish package which is strange, the others ( Galavision & UDN) are not. I went to the UDN/Univision sign in page and COMCAST/Xfinity is not available. There are 15 providers and Comcast is not one of them. Do you know why? Thanks.
PLEASE broadcast Barcelona vs Manchester United on April 16th, and Manchester City vs Spurs on April 17th. Thank you so much and keep up the excellent work!
Will the City v Spurs game be switched again to TNT?
Most probably but we won’t know for sure until next week.
Ajax vs Juventus and Manchester City vs Tottenham next week please!
The final of the champions League won’t be on UniMás it’s going to be on Univision
It appears that the Univision games not televised on a linear channel will this year require a subscriber login. Last year, the non-televised games were available without any authentication.
How can we have access to tudnxtra ?
I think that you get the games via tudn.com or the tudn app as long as you have a tudn subscription. From the apple app store page:
*TUDNxtra*
– Viewers from participating cable providers, with the flagship TUDN network can access and watch additional LIVE games with TUDNxtra. With the TUDNxtra channels, TUDN is delivering every single game of UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA European Qualifiers, as well as Liga MX and Copa MX in both Spanish and English.
It also looks like TUDN will have a whip-around show (like Fox used to have). My Spanish isn’t very good (I’m working on that) but I should be able to enjoy their version regardless.
To be honest, I consumed most of my UCL last year via the univision networks anyway.
FUBOtv now has 11 TUDNxtra channels and ZONAFUTBOL TUDN channel. I have fubo basic with “sports plus”. All the Champions League and Europe League matches are listed in fubo’s listings.
