The Newest MLS Goal of the Year – Kei Kamara

It seems like every week there is a new BEST GOAL EVER in MLS, and this Saturday a new choice has been added to an impressive list.  In Sporting Kansas City’s 4-2 romp over Toronto, Kei Kamara scored the first goal of the match off a Jéferson corner kick.  The kick deflected off a Toronto defender right to Kamara who did his best Wayne Rooney impersonation and unleashed an awesome scissor kick, which you can see here: So what do you think?  Should this goal be in the goal of the year discussion? Saturday night was a big night for the New York Red Bulls as they finally had destiny in their own hands. It was a big match for the club as they needed a single win to put themselves into the postseason and you thought this was going to be a goal fest from the beginning of the match. Back To League Action, Angel’s Brace Leads Red Bulls To A Win

While it was tough to see the USA get eliminated on Saturday Afternoon from the World Cup we should be fortunate to see that Major League Soccer is back in action from their two week break and for the New York Red Bulls traveling to Kansas City facing the Wizards. Former Dynamo Player Kei Kamara Going into Sunday’s home match against the Kansas City Wizards, the Houston Dynamo knew the needed a result to secure their fourth straight playoff berth since moving to the Bayou City, but when forward Cam Weaver received a red card in the 17th minute hopes of an easy victory were quickly dashed.
