Former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t officially take over as Bayern Munich coach until July 1st. However, the Italian tactician has already told officials at the Bundesliga club to start negotiations to bring his former players Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez to the Allianz Arena next season. Soft drink company in talks with Barcelona to replace Qatar Airways as shirt sponsor

According to reports from Spain, Pepsi is in “advanced talks” with Barcelona officials and could usurp Qatar Airways as the Catalan club’s officials shirt sponsor next season. The American multinational food, snack and beverage company initiated talks with the reigning Spanish and European champions over the past few days, and last week representatives from Barcelona were at Super Bowl 50 to hold face to face negotiations with corporate officials from PepsiCo Inc. Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has continually professed that his club’s shirt is the most valuable in the soccer market, based on sales, worldwide exposure and sporting success.
